고등학생이 지각한 교사의 동기부여방식과 자기조절학습간의 관계에서 자기결정동기의 매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 고등학생이 지각한 교사의 동기부여방식과 자기조절학습간의 관계에서 자기결정 동기의 매개효과를 확인하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 2015년 부산·울산 광역시 남녀공학 고등학교 1학년 학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 521부 자료를 분석하였다. 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교사의 자율성지지 방식은 학생의 내재적 동기에 긍정적 영향을 미치고, 통제적 동기부여 방식은 외재적 동기를 향상시켰다. 둘째, 학생의 내재적 동기는 자기조절학습에 긍정적 영향을 미쳤고, 외재적 동기는 자기조절학습에 부정적 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 학생의 자기결정 동기는 교사의 동기부여 방식과 자기조절학습을 부분 매개하여 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 교사의 동기부여 방식이 자기조절학습에 직접적으로 영향을 미칠 뿐만 아니라 자기결정 동기에 의해 매개되어 간접적으로 자기조절학습에 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 보여 주었다. 따라서 교사의 자율성지지 방식을 지지하고 자기조절 학습을 도울 수 있는 내재적 동기에 대한 탐색이 이루어져야 함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the structural relationships among perceived teachers’ motivating style, self-regulated learning, and self-determined motivations of high school students. A structural equation modeling was adopted to test the relationships among the variables and the mediating roles of the students’ self-determined motivation. The subjects of the study were 521 high school students in first grade, The results of this study were as follows. First, perceived teachers’ autonomy supportive style predicted intrinsic motivation and controlling style predicted extrinsic motivation positively. Second, intrinsic motivation had positive affect on students’ self-regulated learning and extrinsic motivation had negative affect on students’ self-regulated learning. Third, students’ intrinsic motivation functioned as mediators between the perceived teachers’ autonomy supportive style and self-regulated learning. Fourth, Students’ extrinsic motivation functioned as mediators between the perceived teachers’ controlling style and self-regulated learning. Results of this study suggest that teachers need to motivate students by using autonomy supportive style to increase their intrinsic motivation and self-regulated learning.
