국문 초록

본 연구는 초등학교 학생들의 공동체의식과 학교생활만족도와의 관계를 탐색하는 것이 목적이다. 연구 대상은 부산광역시 4개 초등학교 5학년, 6학년 학생 181명과 김해시 3개의 초등학교 5학년, 6학년 173명 대상으로 총 354명이다. 연구 결과, 초등학생들의 공동체의식에서 남녀별 차이, 지역별 차이는 나타나지 않았으며, 학교생활 만족도에서도 성별로 차이는 나타나지 않았다. 하지만, 지역별로 학교생활만족도를 비교해 본 결과에서는 중소도시 학생들이 대도시 학생들보다 높은 점수를 나타내어, 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 공동체의식과 학교생활만족도와의 상관관계의 결과는 약56.6% 정도 설명하여 주는 것으로, 공동체의식은 학교생활만족에 영향을 큰 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 하위 요인별로는 일체감 및 상호영향의식이 가장 많은 설명변량을 지니고 있으며, 그 다음은 친밀성과 소속감으로 나타났다. 이는 공동체의식과 학교생활만족도간의 높은 상관관계가 있었다.

영문 초록

This study attempts to investigate the effects which Korean elementary students community consciousness could have on the satisfaction of the school life. In order to find out requirements of the purpose, the study was developed through a method of research based on questionaries and statistical survey analysis with 354 students of 5th and 6th grade of elementary schools which were located in Busan(Metropolitan city) and Kimhea(small and medium city)city. The 354 students were consisted of 173 sixth graders and 181 fifth grade about the grade. 181 students had lived in Busan city and 173 in Kimhea city. The major findings of this study are as follows: First, In students community consciousness, there isn t any meaningful difference in students gender and residential area. Second, The satisfaction of the school life did not have the meaningful effects on the gender. But had the meaningful difference on residential area. Especially, There is statistically significant difference that the satisfaction of the school life of students in Kimhea city, small and medium city was more high than that of students in Busan. Third, In connection with community consciousness of elementary students, the satisfaction of school life had 56.6% explanation variance in regression analysis. In other words, Korean elementary students community consciousness had the statistically meaningful effects on the satisfaction of the school life.
