국문 초록

본 연구는 어머니의 양육효능감이 부적응 유아의 행동특성에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 소진의 매개효과를 살펴봄으로써 부적응 유아지원을 위한 실제적 지원방안을 모색하는데 시사점을 얻고자 한다. 이를 위해 B, C, U시에 소재한 유아교육기관에 자녀가 다니는 어머니 249명 대상으로 2주 동안 어머니의 양육효능감, 소진에 대한 인식과 자녀의 부적응 행동특성을 설문조사하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 어머니의 양육효능감, 소진은 보통정도였고, 자녀의 부적응 행동특성은 낮으나 하위요인인 산만성은 보통인 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 어머니의 부모효능감 결여와 좌절 및 불안감은 자녀의 부적응 행동특성, 어머니의 소진과 정적 상관을 가졌으며, 어머니의 소진과 자녀의 부적응 행동특성은 정적 상관을 가진 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 어머니의 소진은 어머니의 양육효능감과 자녀의 부적응 행동 특성간의 관계에서 부분 매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 자녀의 부적응 행동 특성감소를 위한 어머니의 양육효능감 지원 및 소진 예방을 위한 프로그램의 필요성과 방향을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of mother s burnout on the relationship between parenting self-efficacy and children’s maladjustment behavior. The subjects in this study were 249 mothers with children attend preschool institutions located in the city B, C, U. Three different inventories were utilized. One was a parenting self-efficacy inventory consisting of 2 domains and 13 items, the second was a maladjustment behavior of child inventory consisting of 3 domains and 47 items, and the third was a mother s burnout inventory consisting of 3 domains and 15 items. The findings of the study were as follows: First, the parenting self-efficacy and mother s burnout were all average, and children’s maladjustment were below average. Second, there was a significant positive correlation between their separate scores of parenting self-efficacy, children’s maladjustment behavior mother s burnout in each subfactor. Lastly, mother s burnout mediated on the relationship between parenting self-efficacy and children’s maladjustment behavior.
