유아교사의 유아권리인식 척도 개발 및 타당화 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 유아교사의 유아권리인식에 관한 척도를 개발하고 타당성을 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 기초조사, 예비조사, 본 조사를 거쳐 유아교사 총 858명의 설문조사 자료를 SPSS & AMOS 18.0을 통해 분석하였다. 먼저 기초조사에서는 유엔의 아동권리협약 및 선행연구 고찰을 토대로 구성개념 탐색 및 문항개발을 하였고, 전문가 적절성 검증을 통해 1차 시안을 마련하였다. 예비조사에서는 서울특별시와 경기도에 위치한 유아교육기관의 유아교사 276명의 설문조사 자료를 활용하여 탐색적 요인분석을 실시하였다. 탐색적 요인분석결과 유아교사의 유아권리인식 척도는 ‘생명존중 돌봄 받을 권리’, ‘차별받지 않을 권리’, ‘폭력과 학대로부터 보호받을 권리’, ‘적합한 발달을 지원받을 권리’, ‘의사표현의 자유와 참여의 권리’ 등의 5요인 27문항으로 개발되었다. 본 조사에서는 서울특별시, 경기도, 강원도 및 충청도에 위치한 유아교육기관의 유아교사 582명의 설문자료를 활용하여 확인적 요인분석 및 신뢰도, 타당도를 검증하였다. 확인적 요인분석 결과 유아교사의 유아권리인식 척도의 측정모형의 적합성이 입증되었으며, 내적합치도(Cronbach’s α)는 .93으로 높게 나타났다. 유아교사의 유아권리인식 척도의 준거타당도 검증을 위해 유아권리존중 실행척도와 pearson’s 적률상관분석 결과 유의미한 정적 상관이 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 본 연구에서 개발된 척도가 유아교사의 유아권리인식을 측정하는데 신뢰성 있고 타당한 것임을 보여준다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to develop and validate a scale for infant right awareness of infant teachers. For this purpose, 858 questionnaires were analyzed by SPSS & AMOS 18.0 though basic , preliminary and main surveys. In the basic survey, first, configuration concept was explores and questionnaires were developed based on the United Nations Convention on Rights of the Child and review of preceding literatures and the first draft was prepared through the verification of the experts. In the preliminary survey, questionnaires with 276 infant teachers of children education institute located at Seoul and Gyeonggi-do were used to perform exploratory factor analysis. As a result, 5 factors and 27 questions were developed. Five factors include ‘Respect for life. right to be cared’, ‘Right not to be discriminated’, ‘Right to be protected from violence and abuse’, ‘ Freedom of expression and right to participate’. This study verified confirmatory factor analysis, reliability, and validity by using questionnaire data of 582 infant teachers of child education institute located at Seoul, Gyeonggi - do, Gangwon - do and Chungcheong - do. As a result, it is proved that measurement model of infant right awareness scale of infant teacher is appropriated, showing .93 of internal consistency reliability (Cronbach’s α). For verification of criterion-related validity of infant right awareness scale of infant teacher, significant static correlation was observed as the result of Pearsons’s product-moment correlation with respect for infant rights execution measure. Such results confirm that the scale developed in the following study is reliable and valid in measuring early childhood teachers perception of the rights of young children.
