전통도덕교육론 연구의 분석 및 방향 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 전통도덕교육론을 표방하면서 출간된 2000년 이후의 ‘저서’들을 중심으로 그간에 이루어졌던 전통도덕교육론 연구들을 분석하고, 향후의 연구 방향을 거시적인 수준에서 고찰하는 것이다. 사실 전통도덕교육론과 관련된 연구들은 과거에도 다수 있었다. 그러나 일반 논문 형태의 단발성 실험으로 끝나는 경우가 대부분이었다. 그런데 2000년 이후로 관련 연구들이 저자의 특정 문제의식 아래 모아져 단행본으로 출간되기 시작하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 먼저 전통도덕교육론을 표방하거나 깊이 있게 탐색한 단행본에는 어떤 서적들이 있는지 살펴보고, 또 그 서적들에서 전통도덕교육론의 핵심으로 지적하고 있는 내용은 무엇인지 분석하였다. 그리고 여기에 기초해 향후 전통도덕교육론 연구의 방향 내지는 과제에 대해 제언을 시도하였다. 제언에서는 크게 세 가지 사항이 중심이 되는데, ⓐ 첫째는 전통도덕교육론의 의미를 확립하는 것이야말로 전통도덕교육론이 하나의 이론[論]으로서 자리 잡을 수 있는 진정한 출발점이라는 것이고, ⓑ 둘째는 불교와 도가 관련 전통도덕교육론 연구가 시급하다는 것이며, ⓒ 셋째는 전통도덕교육론의 활용 측면, 즉 교수학습 및 평가방법 관련 연구도 필요하다는 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze studies of traditional moral education theory, which have been made so far, focusing on books published since 2000, being labeled as traditional moral education theory, and examine research direction in the future at an introductory level. First of all, this study checked what were included among books that profoundly investigated traditional moral education theory, and analyzed what contents the books pointed out as the core of traditional moral education theory. Then, based on this, this study attempted to make a suggestion at a macro level about research direction or topics of traditional moral education theory in the future. First, making clear the meaning of traditional moral education theory is the starting point of traditional moral education theory to take root as one theory. Second, it is urgent to make a study of traditional moral education theory relating to buddhism and taoism. Third, it is necessary to make a teaching-learning method and evaluation method relating to traditional moral education theory as well.
