한국과 중국 예비유아교사의 교수관점(teaching perspectives) 비교 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 한국과 중국의 유아교육과 학생들이 교수에 대해 어떠한 관점을 갖고 있는지 경향을 조사하고 분석하는데 목적이 있다. Collins와 Pratt이 개발한 교수관점측정도구를 사용하여 한국과 중국 학생 631명을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 시행하였다. 수집한 자료는 SPSS 23.0으로 기술통계, t 검정의 방법으로 분석하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 한국 학생들은 교육내용의 전달, 실제와의 연계를 중시하는 반면사회적인 맥락 고려는 경시하는 경향을 보였다. 중국 학생들은 실제와의 연계와 정서적인 지지를 중시하는 경향을 보이고 교육내용의 전달을 경시하였다. 둘째, 한국학생들은 학년별, 교육현장경험 유무에 따라 중시하는 교육에 대한 관점이 변화하였다. 한국의 학생들은 지식에 해당하는 교육내용의 전달을 중요시하다가 학년이 높아 질수록 실제와의 연계를 중시하는 경향을 보였다. 또한 교육현장경험이 없었을 때에는 교육내용의 전달을 중시하다가 교육봉사 및 실습을 경험한 뒤에는 실제와의 연계를 중시하였다. 반면에 중국 학생들은 학년별, 교육현장경험 유무와 관계없이 모든 집단에서 실제와의 연계를 중시하였다. 본 연구는 한국과 중국 예비유아교사의 교수관점에 대해 비교·분석해보는 가운데 각국의 예비유아교사 양성과정을 반추해보고 유학생의 교사교육 방향을 모색해 볼 수 있다는 점에서 의의를 갖는다.

영문 초록

This study was aimed to investigate the tendencies of teaching perspectives among Korean and Chinese early childhood major students. As research instruments, the study supplemented Teaching Perspective Inventory(TPI) developed by Collins and Pratt to examine the subjects included 631 students majoring in early childhood education in Korea and China. Collected data were subjected to SPSS 23.0 and analyzed through descriptive statistics and t-test. The result showed as follows: first, Korean students tend to attach importance to Transmission and Apprenticeship, while they disregard Social Reform. Chinese students displayed a tendency to place Apprenticeship and Nurturing above Transmission. Secondly, depending on the level of the field training experience and grade, what Korean students value the most among the focus of perspectives on education differed. Korean students had a tendency to they regarded Transmission highly when they are lower grades but they became to put emphasis on Apprenticeship in return for higher grades. Moreover, when they had no experience on the field, they tend to put Transmission ahead of all, while they became to think much of Apprenticeship after they experienced service teaching or teaching practice. On the other hand, Chinese students regarded Apprenticeship to be the most important regardless of grade and whether they had field training experience or not. In short, this comparative study on the educational perspectives of pre-service kindergarten teachers of Korea and China has significance for it tried to look back the reality of pre-service kindergarten teachers training program of each country and to figure out the best way for it.
