텍스트 마이닝을 활용한 음악과 교육과정의 키워드 네트워크 분석 연구

국문 초록

목적 이 연구의 목적은 음악과 교육과정에 관련된 주요 쟁점과 담론을 종합적이고 체계적으로 파악하기 위하여 빅데이터 분석기법인 텍스트 마이닝을 실시하여 일반 대중과 교육 당국, 전문가 집단 등 이해당사자들의 음악과 교육과정에 대한 인식을 알아보는 것이다. 방법 이를 위하여 한국교육과정평가원의 연구보고서, 언론의 뉴스기사 본문, 국내 학술지자료를 연구 대상으로 선정하였으며 제7차 음악과 교육과정부터 2022 개정 음악과 교육과정까지 시기별 빈도분석과 키워드 네트워크 분석을 실시하였다. 결과 음악과 교육과정에 대하여 가장 많은 데이터를 보유하고 있는 대상은 언론이었고, 학술지자료, 정부자료 순서로 데이터를 확보하였다. 정부자료 결과 ‘교육’, ‘학교’, ‘교과’, ‘평가’는 모든 교육과정 시기에서 중요하게 제시되고 있었고, 언론에서는 ‘교육’, ‘학생’, ‘학교’, ‘시간’, ‘교과’ 키워드가 제시되었다. 이를 통해서 언론에서는 교육과정에 대하여 학교 수업 내에서 학생의 교육을 중심으로 보도하고 있다는 것을 파악할 수 있다. 학술지자료에서는 ‘음악과 교육과정’, ‘교육’, ‘학습’, ‘활동’, ‘학생’, ‘음악교과서’, ‘초등학교’의 키워드가 제시되고 있다. 이를 통해서 우리나라 음악교육 학계에서는 초등학교를 중심으로 음악교과서에 관련된 학습 및 활동에 관련된 연구가 꾸준히 수행된 것을 알 수 있다. 결론 정부에서는 음악과 교육과정을 중심으로 학교 교육 현장에서 활용할 수 있는 다양한 연구자료 및 평가자료 등을 중심으로 연구하고 있었다. 언론에서는 음악과 교육과정에 관련되어 사회적 요구 및 대중들의 인식을 즉각적으로 반영하고 있었고, 음악교육 관련 학계에서는 교육과정 문서 자체에 대한 이해와 다양한 학습방법과 구체적이고 실현가능한 지도방안을 중심으로 연구되고 있었다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to understand the perceptions of the general public, educational authorities, professional groups, and other stakeholders on music curriculum by using text mining, a big data analysis technique, to comprehensively and systematically identify key issues and discourses related to music curriculum. Methods Research reports from the Korea Institute of Curriculum and Evaluation, news article texts, and domestic academic journal articles were selected as the primary sources for this study. These materials span from the 7th music curriculum to the 2022 revision, with the study conducting both periodic frequency analysis and keyword network analysis Results The findings indicate that the media is the most abundant source of information on music curriculum, followed by academic journals, and government documents, in that order. In government documents, ‘education’, ‘school’, ‘subject’, and ‘evaluation’ emerged as key terms consistently across all curriculum periods. The media, on the other hand, often mentioned ‘education’, ‘students’, ‘school’, ‘time’, and ‘subject’, suggesting a focus on student education within school lessons. Academic journal articles presented ‘music curriculum’, ‘education’, ‘learning’, ‘activities’, ‘students’, and ‘music textbooks’ for primary schools as key terms. This reveals a continuous focus by the Korean music education academic community on research related to activities and learning connected to music textbooks, particularly at the primary education level. Conclusions The government’s research has concentrated on various materials and assessment data that can be used in educational settings, with a focus on music curriculum. The media has quickly reflected social demands and the public’s perception of music curriculum. In the academic field related to music education, research has focused on understanding the curriculum documents themselves, exploring diverse learning methods, and developing practical teaching strategies.
