고등학생의 학업무기력 잠재집단에 따른 진로적응력의 차이

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 고등학생의 학업무기력에 따른 잠재집단을 분류하여 잠재집단에 따른 진로적응력의 차이를 파악하고 잠재집단의 분류에 영향을 미치는 예측요인으로서 그릿과 친구관계, 교사관계의 영향력을 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 방법 이를 위하여 연구대상으로 한국아동·청소년패널조사 2018(KCYPS 2018)의 중학교 1학년 중 4차년도 조사를 사용하였으며, 해당 조사에 참여한 고등학생 2265명의 데이터를 분석에 활용하였다. SPSS 23.0과 Mplus 8.8 통계 패키지를 활용하여 잠재프로파일분석과 다항 로지스틱 회귀분석, 차이분석 등을 실시하였다. 결과 주요한 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째 고등학생의 학업무기력에 대한 잠재집단은 총 3개로 분류되었으며, 각각 ‘학업무기력 저수준 집단’과 ‘학업무기력 중수준 집단’, ‘학업무기력 고수준 집단’으로 명명되었다. 둘째, 고등학생의 진로적응력은 학업무기력 잠재집단에 따라 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 학업무기력이 낮은 집단에 속할수록 진로적응력이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 고등학생의 학업무기력에 대한 잠재집단의 분류에 그릿과 친구관계, 교사관계는 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 그릿과 교사관계는 ‘학업무기력 중수준 집단’에, 그릿과 친구관계는 ‘학업무기력 고수준 집단’에 유의한 영향을 미쳐 ‘학업무기력 저수준 집단’에 속할 확률을 높여주는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 본 연구는 고등학생의 학업무기력을 사람중심적 접근의 하나인 잠재프로파일분석을 통해 잠재집단을 분류하여 잠재집단에 따른 진로적응력의 차이를 살펴봄을 통해 학업무기력과 진로적응력 간의 관계를 확인하였으며, 학업무기력의 수준별로 다른 개입을 제공해주는 것이 효과적일 수 있다는 것을 밝혀내었다. 이러한 결론을 통해 고등학생의 진로적응력 향상 및 학업무기력 해소를 위한 개입에 대한 함의점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to identify the latent profiles of high school students’ academic help-lessness and differences in career adaptability, and to explore the effects of GRIT, relationship with friend and re-lationship with teacher ad the predictors. Methods Questionnaire data from the 4th wave of Korea Children and Youth Panel Survey 2018 (KCYPS 2018) were analyzed. To examine the latent profiles, latent profile analysis(LPA), Chi-square test, multinomial logistic re-gression model(MLR) were used. Results First, as the result of LPA, three latent profiles were found called low level of academic helplessness group, mid level of academic helplessness group, and high level of academic helplessness group. Second, there was siginificant difference in the career adatability depending on the latent profiles. Low level of academic help-lessness group showed the highest career adatability and Low level of academic helplessness group showed the lowest career adatability. Third, as the result of MLR, GRIT, relationship with friend, and relationship with teacher had significant effects as the predictors, but their influence differed by the latent profiles. Conclusions The results of this study suggest that the career adaptability is different by latent profiles of academic helplessness. and different interventions are effective by the latent profiles. Our findings have important im-plications for interventions to alleviate academic helplessness and increase career adaptability in high school students.
