교과융합 학교폭력예방 프로그램이 초등학교 6학년 학생의 공감에 미치는 효과성 분석

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 현직 교사로서 교과융합을 통한 초등학생 학교폭력예방 프로그램을 개발하여, 학령에 맞는 내용과 형식을 통해 지속적인 프로그램 운영을 실시해 그 효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 방법 서울에 소재하고 있는 G초등학교 6학년 4개 학급 100명을 대상으로 남학생 53명과 여학생 47명을 실험집단(50명)과 통제집단(50명)으로 구분하여, 학교폭력예방 프로그램을 운영하였다. 학급 단위의 교과융합 학교폭력예방 프로그램이 초등학생들의 개인 내적 변화뿐만 아니라, 학급 내 타인에 대한 공감을 향상시켜, 또래 관계의 긍정적인 개선 효과를 보이는 것을 살펴보고자 하였다. 결과 실험집단과 통제집단의 공감에 대하여 공분산분석 결과, 사전-사후 검증 결과 변화량은 실험집단이 통제집단보다 통계적으로 유의하게 증가한 것으로 나타났는데, 이는 교과융합 학교폭력예방 프로그램이 공감에 바람직한 변화에 효과를 미치는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 반복측정 분산분석을 통해 분석한 공감은 시간*집단구분에 통계적으로 유의하게 차이가 있었으며, 이를 통해 공감에 대해 지속적인 효과가 있음을 확인하였다. 결론 초등학교 6학년의 학급 단위별 실증 연구를 토대로 효과성을 검증함으로써 초등학생들의 공감이라는 심리적인 관점에서 관심을 가지고, 실제 학교 현장에서도 활용될 수 있는 교과융합 학교폭력예방 프로그램 효과성을 확인하였다는 것에 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purposes of this study, as an incumbent teacher, we tried to develop a school violence prevention program for elementary school students through curriculum convergence and to verify its effectiveness by continuously operating the program through content and form suitable for school age. Methods A school violence prevention program was operated by dividing 53 boys and 47 girls into an experimental group (50) and a control group (50) for 100 students in the 6th grade of G Elementary School located in Seoul. The purpose of the class-level curriculum convergence school violence prevention program was to examine not only the internal changes of elementary school students but also the positive improvement of peer relationships by improving empathy for others in the class. Results As a result of covariance analysis on the empathy of the experimental group and the control group, the change in the experimental group was statistically significantly higher than that of the control group, which confirmed that the curriculum convergence school violence prevention program had an effect on desirable change in empathy. In addition, empathy analyzed through repeated measurement variance analysis was statistically significantly different in time and group classification, and through this, it was confirmed that empathy had a continuous effect. Conclusions It is meaningful that the effectiveness of the curriculum convergence school violence prevention program that can be used in the actual school field was confirmed from the psychological perspective of empathy among elementary school students by verifying the effectiveness based on empirical studies by class level of sixth graders.
