국문 초록

본 연구는 결혼이민자의 한국 사회에 정착하는 데 부정적인 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하여 이민자의 특성에따른 욕구를 바탕으로 안정적인 정착을 도울 수 있는 정책적 대안을 모색하고자 하였다. 연구 결과를 토대로 결혼이민자의 욕구에 따른 정책적인 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 결혼이민자의 특성과 욕구에 맞는 다양한 한국어 교육 프로그램의 운영 활성화가 필요하다. 둘째, 경제적으로 안정적인 생활을 할 수 있도록 결혼이민자의 직업 및 취업 교육프로그램 강화가 필요하다. 셋째, 결혼이민자에 대한 인권 및 사회적 편견 인식 개선 교육은 전 국민으로 확대되어야 한다. 마지막으로 국제결혼이민자들이 한국에서 자조적으로 살아갈 수 있도록 필요한 정보를 제공해야 하며 이들의 지역 여건과 욕구에 따른 프로그램개발 확대와 운영에 대한 개선이 필요하다. 아울러 결혼이민자와 그 가족이 한국 정착과정에서 경험하는 다양한 요인들에 대한 특성과 욕구를 바탕으로 단계적이고 체계적인 지원정책을 만드는데 자료로 활용 할 수 있기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

This study analyzed the factors that negatively affect marriage immigrants' settlement in Korean society and attempted to find policy alternatives that can help stable settlement based on the needs according to the characteristics of immigrants. Based on the research results, the policy implications according to the needs of marriage immigrants are as follows. First, it is necessary to activate the operation of various Korean language education programs suitable for the characteristics and needs of marriage immigrants. Second, it is necessary to strengthen the vocational and employment education programs for marriage immigrants so that they can live an economically stable life. Third, education to improve the perception of human rights and social prejudice for marriage immigrants should be expanded to the whole nation. Lastly, it is necessary to provide necessary information so that international marriage immigrants can live on their own in Korea, and it is necessary to expand the development and operation of programs according to their local conditions and needs. In addition, it is expected that marriage immigrants and their families can be used as data to create phased and systematic support policies based on the characteristics and desires of various factors experienced in the process of settling in Korea.
