여대생이 지각한 어머니의 양육태도가 성역할갈등에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 여대생이 지각한 어머니의 양육태도가 성역할갈등에 미치는 영향에서 심리적 유연성과 자아분화의 매개효과를 탐색함으로써 성역할갈등을 완화할 수 있는 방안을 찾고자 하였다. 방법 이를 위하여 대구·경북 소재 여대생 414명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 위계적 회귀분석을 통해 검증하고자 하였다. 결과 첫째, 심리적 유연성이 여대생이 지각한 어머니의 양육태도와 성역할갈등 간의 관계를 매개하는지 살펴본 결과, 심리적 유연성의 매개효과는 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 즉 어머니의 양육태도가 애정적, 자율적, 성취적, 합리적일수록 여대생의 심리적 유연성이 높으며 성역할갈등 수준은 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 자아분화가 여대생이 지각한 어머니의 양육태도와 성역할갈등 간의 관계를 매개하는지 살펴본 결과, 자아분화의 매개효과는 대부분 유의하였다. 즉 어머니의 양육태도가 자율적, 성취적, 합리적일수록 여대생의 자아분화 수준이 높으며 성역할갈등 수준이 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 한편 어머니 양육태도의 하위요인 중 애정적 양육태도는 자아분화에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 결론 이상의 결과를 토대로 여대생이 경험하는 성역할갈등에 대해 살펴보고 이를 완화할 수 있는 프로그램 및 상담 개입의 기초자료를 제시하고자 하였으며, 성역할갈등과 관련된 지속적인 연구의 필요성을 시사하고자 하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purposes of this study were to examine the effects of mother’s rearing attitude on gender role conflict among female undergraduate students, focusing on the mediated effects of psychological flexibility and differentiation of self. Methods It was analyzed in Cronbach s α, correlation analysis of pearson. And Baron & Kenny model, Sobel test was applied to verify the mediating effect of psychological flexibility and differentiation of self. Data were collected from 414 female undergraduate students enrolled in universities located in Daegu and Kyungpook. Results The main findings of this study are as follows: First, psychological flexibility mediated the four variable factors of parent’s rearing attitude-affective, autonomous, achieving, reasonable- on gender role conflict. Second, differentiation of self mediated the four variable factors of father’s rearing attitude-affective, autonomous, achieving, reasonable- and the three variable factors of mother’s rearing attitude-autonomous, achieving, reasonable- on gender role conflict, but direct effect of mother’s affective attitudes on differentiation of self was not significant. Conclusions Based on the above results, this study attempted to examine the gender role conflict experienced by female undergraduate students, and to present basic data on programs and counseling interventions that can alleviate it, and to suggest the necessity of continuous research related to gender role conflict.
