영유아 또래관계에 대한 연구 분석

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 영유아의 또래관계에 대한 연구물을 분석하여 영유아 또래관계 연구에 대한 기초자료를 제공하기 위함이다. 방법 2016년 1월부터 202년 12월까지 국내 유아교육 관련 등재학술지에 발표된 150편의 논문을 대상으로 하여 빈도와 백분율을 산출하였다. 결과 첫째, 연구시기별로 살펴보면 2016년부터 2020년까지 영유아 또래관계와 관련된 연구의 수는 점점 감소하는 추세이다. 둘째, 연구대상별로 보면 영아에 비해 유아의 또래관계 연구가 높은 비중을 차지하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 성인을 대상으로 포함한 연구에서는 부모에 비해 교사를 연구대상으로 포함한 연구의 비중이 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 연주내용에서는 인적/물적 환경에 대한 내용이 가장 높은 비중을 차지하였고, 연구주제에서는 또래놀이상호작용을 주제로 한 연구가 가장 높은 비중을 차지하는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 연구유형 및 연구방법에 있어서는 양적연구 유형이 가장 많았으며, 자료수집방법에서는 질문지법이, 자료분석 방법에서는 상관분석이 가장 많이 수행된 것으로 나타났다. 결론 본 연구는 연구 내용 및 주제, 연구 유형 및 방법에서의 편중성을 밝힘으로써 추후 연구에서의 균형성을 도모하고, 영유아 또래관계 연구의 발전적인 방향성을 제시하였다는데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to provide basic data on peer relationships of infants and children by analyzing the research of peer relationships between them. Methods The frequency and percentage were calculated from 150 studies published in the journals related to earlychildhood education in Korea from January 2016 to December 2020. Results As a result, first, according to the period of study, the number of studies related to peer relationships from 2016 to 2020 tends to gradually decrease. Second, according to the subjects, the study of peer relationship of children took up higher proportion than that of infants. In addition, in the study including adults as subjects, it showed higher proportion of studies including teachers as subjects than parents. Third, in the contents of the study, the contents of the human/material environment took up the highest proportion, and in the research themes, the study subjected with the peer play interaction showed the highest proportion. Fourth, quantitative research type was the most common in research type and research method, and question and answer method was the most common in data collection method and correlation analysis was the most common in data analysis method. Conclusions This study is meaningful in that it aims to promote balance in future studies by clarifying the weighted factors in the contents, themes, research types and methods of the study, and suggests the developmental direction of peer relationship research for infants and children.
