부모의 양육태도가 초등학생의 학업성취에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 부모의 양육태도가 초등학교 4학년 아동의 학업성취에 미치는 영향을 파악하고 아동의 학습시간과 여가시간의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 방법 이를 위하여 한국아동·청소년패널 2018 1차년도 자료를 SPSS와 PROCESS Macro Model 4를 이용하여 분석을 실시하였다. 연구대상은 초등학교 4학년 2,532명(남 1,274명, 여 1,258명)이다. 결과 첫째, 아동의 학업성취와 부모의 긍정적 양육태도, 아동의 학습시간, 여가시간 간에는 유의미한 정적 관계가 나타났고, 부모의 부정적 양육태도는 부적 관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 부모의 양육태도와 아동의 학업성취 관계에서 아동의 학습시간이 간접적으로 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 부모의 양육태도와 아동의 학업성취 관계에서 아동의 여가시간이 간접적으로 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 아동이 학습시간과 여가시간을 충분히 누릴 수 있도록 활동시간에 대한 구체적인 지원 및 시간 활용 프로그램을 개발하는 것이 필요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study was investigate the effect of parent s parenting attitudes on the academic achievement of children in the 4th grade of elementary school, and to Mediating effects of the parameters of learning time and leisure time of children. Methods The data analysis uses SPSS and PROCESS Macro Model 4 for the first year of 2018 for Korean Children and Youth Panel. The subjects of the study were 2,532 fourth graders elementary school(1,274 boy and 1,258 girl). Results First, there was a significant positive relationship between the children s academic achievement, the parent s positive parenting attitude, the children s learning time, and leisure time, and the parent s negative parenting attitude showed a negative relationship. Second, it was found that the children s learning time is indirectly mediated in the relationship between the parent s parenting attitude and the children s academic achievement. Third, it was found that the children s leisure time is indirectly mediated in the relationship between the parent s parenting attitude and the children s academic achievement. Conclusions This suggests that it is necessary to develop specific support and time utilization programs for active hours so that children can fully enjoy their learning and leisure time.
