국내 아유르베다 연구에 관한 논문 동향 분석

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 아유르베다의 연구 방향성을 제시하기 위한 국내 아유르베다 연구에 관련된 학위 논문과 학술지 논문의 동향을 분석하였다. 방법 이를 위해 학술정보사이트(RISS)에서 검색한 논문 중 학위논문은 최근의 박사논문 16편과 석사논문 11편으로 총 27편, 국내학술지 논문 106편을 전수 조사하여, 최근 학위논문은 2016년부터 2021년까지 연도별로, 국내 학술지 논문은 학술지에 최초로 게재된 2002년부터 2020년까지의 시기를 4시기로 분류하여 논문의 연구종류·연구분야·연구방법·연구주제별로 아유르베다 연구의 동향을 분석하였다. 결과 첫째, 연구종류별 분석에서 1997년 한의학 박사논문을 효시로 아유르베다가 국내에 도입된 이후 석사와 학술지 논문이 지속적으로 연구되었고, 2018년 이후부터는 석사논문의 수보다 박사논문의 수가 많다. 둘째, 연구 분야별 분석은 초창기에 한의학과 미용학에서 연구되었으나, 현재는 한의학, 미용학 뿐만 아니라 자연치유학, 상담심리, 요가학, 교육학 등 다양한 분야에서 연구되고 있다. 셋째, 연구방법별 분석은 시기에 차이가 있으나 문헌연구가 많다. 제 1시기는 전부 문헌연구였으나, 제 2시기에는 실험연구와 조사연구가 많았다. 반면 제 3시기에는 문헌의 연구가 많았는데 이 때는 원서 연구가 주를 이루고 있다. 이는 전문성을 함양하기 위한 과도기라 사료된다. 제 4시기에는 임상을 기반으로 하는 현상학 연구와 내러티브 등 질적 연구들이 이루어지고 있어 질적·양적발달을 보이고 있다. 넷째, 연구 목적별 분석에서 초기에는 대부분 이론적 접근이지만, 최근에는 아유르베다의 발달을 위한 체질에 따른 프로그램 개발 및 척도개발 등이 연구되면서 실천적 접근의 연구들이 증가하였다. 결론 본 연구는 학위논문과 학술지 논문에 대한 동향분석 연구를 최초로 시도한 것에 의의를 둘 수 있으며, 전인교육을 목표로 하는 교육학에서 전인적 학문인 아유르베다의 연구가 더 활성화되기를 제언한다.

영문 초록

Objectives In this study, the trend of thesis and journal articles related to domestic Ayurveda research was analyzed to suggest the research direction of Ayurveda. Methods For this, among thesis searched on the academic information website (RISS), 16 recent doctoral thesis, 11 recent master thesis, total of 27 thesis, and 106 domestic journal articles were analyzed. The trend of Ayurvedic research was analyzed according to the research type, research field, research method, and purpose of research by classifying papers from 2002 to 2020, which were first published in journals, into four periods. Results The trend of Ayurvedic research was analyzed by the research type, research field, research method, and research purpose of the paper. First, in the analysis by research type, after Ayurveda was introduced in Korea with a doctoral thesis in oriental medicine in 1997, master s and academic journal articles have been continuously researched, and the number of doctoral thesis has been more than the number of master s thesis after 2018. Second, in the analysis by research field, it was studied in medicine and cosmetology in the early days, but now it is being studied in various fields such as natural healing, counseling psychology, yoga, and pedagogy. Third, in the analysis by research method, there are many literature studies in general. the 1st period was all literature studies, but in the 2nd period there were many experimental and research studies. On the other hand, in the 3rd period, there were many literature studies, and original textbook studies were dominated. This is considered to be a transition period to cultivate professionalism. In the 4th period, qualitative studies such as phenomenological studies and narratives were conducted based on clinical practice, showing qualitative and quantitative development. Fourth, in the analysis by research purpose, initially, most of research purpose were theoretical approaches, but in recent years, program development and scales development according to constitution for the growth of Ayurveda has been studied, increasing the practical approaches research. Conclusions It is significant that this study was the first to conduct trend analysis research on dissertations and journal articles, and suggests that the research of Ayurveda, which is a holistic discipline, will be more active in pedagogy aiming for holistic education.
