간호수기 완전학습과 간호시뮬레이션 실습이 간호대학생의 임상수행능력, 의사소통능력, 학습몰입에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 간호수기 완전학습과 간호시뮬레이션 실습이 간호대학생의 임상수행능력, 의사소통능력, 학습몰입에 미치는 효과를 확인하기 위해 수행된 단일군 전후 유사실험설계와 비동등성 대조군 유사실험설계 연구이다. 방법 연구대상자는 경기도 소재 대학의 간호학과 4학년 57명으로, 자료수집은 2019년 9월부터 12월까지 진행되었다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 23.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 대상자의 일반적 특성 및 학업특성은 빈도와 백분율, 평균과 표준편차 등을 사용하여 분석하였으며, 동질성 검정은 chi-square test와 independent t-test로 분석하였다. 교육의 효과는 paired t-test와 ANCOVA로 분석하였다. 결과 간호수기 완전학습을 적용한 후, 임상수행능력(t=3.137, p=.004)과 학습몰입(t=2.393, p=.024)이 유의하게 향상되었다. 간호시뮬레이션 실습을 적용한 그룹이 임상수행능력(F=6.501, p=.014)과 학습몰입(F=6.929, p=.011)이 유의하게 더 높았다. 간호수기 완전학습과 간호시뮬레이션 실습을 함께 적용한 후, 임상수행능력(t=5.568, p=<.001), 의사소통능력(t=3.455, p=.002), 학습몰입(t=6.806, p=<.001)이 모두 유의하게 향상되었다. 결론 본 연구 결과를 토대로, 간호사에게 필수적으로 요구되는 임상수행능력과 의사소통능력을 향상시키고, 학습몰입을 증진하기 위해서 간호수기 완전학습을 포함한 간호시뮬레이션 실습 프로그램을 활용할 필요가 있겠다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study examined effects of a mastery learning of nursing skills and a nursing simulation practice on clinical competency, communication skills and learning flow of nursing students. Methods The research design involved a one group pretest-posttest design and a quasi-experimental study with a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. Total 57 senior nursing students in a University selected by convenience sampling. The data were collected using self-administered questionnaires. Data analyses used chi-square test, independent t-test, paired t-test, and ANCOVA. Results After the mastery learning of nursing skill, clinical competency (t=3.137, p=.004) and learning flow (t=2.393, p=.024) were significantly increased. After the nursing simulation practice, clinical competency (F=6.501, p=.014) and learning flow (F=6.929, p=.011) in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group. After the mastery learning of nursing skill & the nursing simulation practice, clinical competency (t=5.568, p<.001), communication skills (t=3.455, p=.002) and learning flow (t=6.806, p<.001) were significantly increased. Conclusions Findings indicated that the mastery learning of nursing skill & nursing simulation practice can be recommended as an effective educational program for nursing students to improve their clinical nursing competence.
