국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 학자금 지원이 대학생의 교과 참여, 비교과 참여를 매개로 대학생활만족도에 미치는 영향에 관한 구조적 관계를 분석하였다. 방법 이를 위해 한국장학패널(Korea Student Aid Panel Survey) 제2차 조사결과 자료를 바탕으로 결측값 없이 응답한 4년제 대학생 2,821명의 패널자료를 AMOS 22.0을 이용하여 구조방정식 모형분석을 실시하였다. 결과 장학금 수혜와 학자금 대출로 나누어 분석한 결과 첫째, 장학금 수혜는 교과 참여와 대학생활만족도에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤고, 학자금 대출은 대학생활만족도에 부(-)적 영향을 미치는 것으로 타났다. 반면, 장학금 수혜가 비교과 참여에 미치는 영향과 학자금 대출이 교과 및 비교과 참여에 영향을 미치는 경로는 통계적으로 유의미하지 않았다. 둘째, 매개효과 분석결과 장학금 수혜가 교과 참여를 거쳐 대학생활만족도에 이르는 경로의 매개효과는 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타난 반면, 비교과 참여의 매개효과는 통계적으로 유의미하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 연구결과를 바탕으로 대학 현장에 필요한 정책적 시사점을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study was to analyze the structural relationship of financial aid(both grants and loans) on college satisfaction mediated by participation in curricular and extra-curricular activities among undergraduate students. Methods To attain this purpose, this study used 2,821 survey data from the 2nd panel of Korea Student Aid Panel Survey(KOSAPS) provided by the Korea Student Aid Foundation. Results As a result, first, effect of the ratio of grants of college tuition to curricular activities and college satisfaction showed a positive correlation and statistically significant result. The ratio of loans of college tuition to college satisfaction showed a negative correlation and statistically significant result. On the other hand, the ratio of grants of college tuition affecting participation in extra-curricular activities path and the ratio of loans of college tuition to participation in curricular and extra-curricular activities were not statistically significant. Second, as mediating effect results, between the ratio of grants of college tuition and college satisfaction, participation in curricular activities were statistically significant mediating effects. Conclusions The results of the study were elaborated upon in text, and related policy implications was discussed as well.
