국문 초록

학교는 교육을 통한 인격체 완성과 함께, 안전을 가르치고 보호해야 하는 다중적인 책무를 가지고 있다. 그러나 학교현장에서는 충분하지 못한 인적·물적 자원으로 학교안전과 학교교육의 목적을 동시에 효과적으로 달성하는데 많은 어려움을 겪고 있다. 학교 특성 및 현실을 고려한 학교안전 논의 또한 매우 미흡한 실정이다. 회복 탄력성(resilience) 기반 학교안전은 본연의 학교교육활동과 함께 학생안전을 도모할수 있는 새로운 접근으로 사고 발생 방지가 아닌 학생의 성공적인 일상을 보장하는 것이다. 회복탄력성 기반 학교안전은 다음과 같은 핵심 내용들을 강조한다: 1) 학생 중심적 접근; 2) 통합적 접근; 3) 일상생활 기반 접근; 4) 강점기반 접근; 5) 과정 중심적 접근; 6) 돌봄과 지원적 학교환경에 초점을 둔 접근; 7) 제한된 학교자원을 고 려한 현실적 접근 등. 이러한 특성을 지닌 회복탄력성 기반 학교안전은 학교교육 목적 달성과 아울러 급증하는 학교위험에 대응하기 위한 효과적 접근으로서 향후 우리나라 학교안전에 의미 있는 시사를 제시할 것이다.

영문 초록

With the completion of personality through education, schools must perform multiple functions to teach safety and protect students. However, there are many difficulties in effectively achieving both school safety and school education objectives with insufficient human and material resources. Also, there is little discussion on school safety considering school characteristics and reality. The goal of resilience-based school safety is not to prevent accidents but to ensure the student s successful life and to achieve the goals of school education effectively. School resilience based on resilience stresses the following key points: 1) a student-centered approach; 2) an integrated approach; 3) a daily life-based approach; 4) a strength-based approach; 5) a process-oriented approach; 6) an approach that focuses on care and supportive school environment; 7) a practical approach considering limited school resources. The resilience-based school safety with these characteristics is an effective approach to meet school objectives and to cope with rapidly increasing school risks in Korea.
