대학에서 SNS를 활용한 학습공동체 사례연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 SNS를 활용한 동료 튜터링 참여자의 학습자 경험을 분석하고, 발전방안을 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 A대학 동료 튜터링 프로그램에 참여한 203명을 대상으로 프로그램을 적용하고 만족도, 인식조사를 실시하였다. 설문에 참여한 203명 중 단과대학별로 17명을 선정하여 심층면담을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 동료 튜터링 프로그램에 대한 SNS 활용 만족도 인식조사 결과, 자기주도적 학습역량과 자원활용능력, 협동 및 상호작용 순으로 만족도가 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 동료 튜터링의 학습경험에 대한 인터뷰와 설문을 조사한 결과, 튜터링 활동에 카카오톡이 가장 유용하고 많이 사용되는 SNS 학습도구로 팀 내 상호작용과 유대감을 높인다는 연구결과를 보였다. 이 밖에도 튜터링에서 가장 많이 사용하는 SNS의 주요기능으로 알림과 자료등록으로 나타났고, 참여자가 경험한 어려운 점은 SNS의 사생활 침해와 사교중심의 모임 운영으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 심층면담 결과 본 프로그램의 개선방안으로는 SNS 활용 매뉴얼 개발, 팀별 활용 사례 공유 확대, 팀 내 사전준비 기간 확대, 관리자의 피드백과 모니터링, 튜터 교육이 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 동료 튜터링의 효율적인 SNS 활용과 운영 개선의 방향을 제안함으로써 향후 학습공동체의 발전을 위해 유용하게 활용될 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the learner s experience of peer tutoring using SNS and to suggest the development plan. For this purpose, 203 students participated in the A college tutoring program of A university. Among the 203 students who participated in the questionnaire, 17 students were selected and conducted in-depth interviews. Results can be summarized as follows: First, the self-directed learning ability, resource utilization ability, cooperation and interaction, were high. Second, as a result of interviews and questionnaires about the learning experiences of colleagues tutoring, KakaoTalk appeared to be the most useful and frequently used SNS learning tool for tutoring activities, and this program provided interactions, bonds and belonging within the team appear. In addition, the main function of SNS which is the most frequently used in tutoring was notice and data registration. The difficulties experienced by participant were social infringement of SNS and sociability centered meeting operation. Finally, in-depth interviews were conducted to develop the SNS application manuals, to expand the use cases for each team, to extend the preparation period in teams, to provide feedback and monitoring of managers, and to teach tutors. The results of this study suggest that the effective use of SNS and the direction of improvement of peer tutoring are expected to be useful for the development of learning community in the future.
