컴퓨터과학 전공 대학생의 진로태도 성숙도에 영향을 미치는 요인

국문 초록

본 연구는 컴퓨터과학 전공 대학생의 진로태도 성숙수준을 살펴보고 진로태도 성숙에 영향을 미치는 요인을 도출함으로써, 대학들이 컴퓨터과학 전공 대학생의 진로발달을 위한 정책적 대안을 찾는데 도움을 주는데 목적을 두었다. 분석의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 컴퓨터과학 전공자의 진로태도 성숙도는 성별과 학년에 따라 차이가 없었다. 다만, 성적이 높은 대학생이 결정성, 준비성과 함께 진로태도 성숙도가 높고, 장래 희망직업이 있는 학생이 계획성과 독립성 그리고 진로태도 성숙도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 자아존중감의 하위요인인 자기평가 및 자기존중과 함께 분석되었을 때, 개인적 특성인 성별, 학년, 성적, 장래 희망직업 여부는 진로태도 성숙도에 전혀 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 오히려 자기평가가 1점 척도만큼 증가할수록 진로태도 성숙도가 .226만큼 증가하고 자기존중이 1점 척도만큼 증가할수록 진로태도 성숙도가 .371만큼 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 성적이 낮은 학생들과 장래 희망직업이 없는 학생들 등 진로태도 성숙도가 낮은 대학생들을 대상으로 자아존중감을 향상시킬 수 있는 교육활동을 제공해야 함을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This research studied that clear career attitude maturity level of computer science major students, and how individual factors and self-esteem influenced on career attitude maturity. Results of this research and suggestions based on it are as follows. First, the results of this paper, show no difference in career attitude maturity level of computer science major students based on gender and school year. But it show that students with higher grade have not only determination and readiness for job, but also higher career attitude maturity level than lower grade students. And it show that students have hoping job have not only higher planning and independence of job choice, but also higher career attitude maturity level than students haven’t hoping job. Second, result of analysis including self-rating and self-respect as sub-factors of general self-esteem show that students’s individual characters as gender, school year, grade, whether have hoping job or not doesn’t have an impact on career attitude maturity level. It show that self-rating and self-respect increased by 1 point high by each .226 and .371 on career attitude maturity level. Third, I suggested that university should provide self-esteem promotive program for students with lower grade and students haven’t hoping job.
