청각자극에 의한 부정적 이미지 자극의 마스킹효과 연구

국문 초록

현대사회의 대표적 교통수단인 지하철을 이용할 때마다 지하철 이용객은 각종 부착물에 대한 내외적인 요인에 의하여 육체적 정신적 저항에 항시 노출된다. 이용자 만족도를 높이기 위하여 교통정책 개선 등이 이루어지고 있으나 실효성이 적다. 그렇기에 제고를 위해서는 이용자가 느끼는 부정적 느낌을 적게 받게 하거나 줄이는 것이 중요한 과제라고 할 수 있을 것이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 지하철 이용객에게 부정적 이미지가 전달되고 어떻게 인식되는지를 알아보고 청각자극을 제시해 부정적 이미지에 대한 회피 및 마스킹 효과가 있는지를 규명하고자 하였다. 위와 같은 목적을 이루기 위해 정성적 평가인 일대 비교법을 사용하였고 IAPS의 부정적 이미지만을 제시한 경우와 청각자극을 동시에 제시한 경우를 일대일로 비교하여 7점 척도 평가를 진행하였다. 연구결과 혐오감에 대한 대조군과 실험군의 각 자극간의 높은 유의차(P<0.01)가 발생하였지만, 순위는 변동이 없었으며, 심리척도도 크게 변화하지 않았다. 청각이 시각보다 인지 반응이 빠르더라도 자극적이고 강렬한 시각 자극이 발생하게 되면 그 자극을 상쇄시키지 못한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 금후 인체의 정량적 평가를 위해 객관적 지표로서 심전도나 뇌파를 이용하여 측정 및 평가를 할 예정이다.

영문 초록

Whenever the subway, the representative means of transportation in modern society, is used, the subway users are always exposed to the physical, mental resistance by the internal and external factors of various attachments. The improvement of traffic policy is made to enhance the satisfaction of users, but is less effective. Therefore, it is an important task to make the users feel less negative feeling or to reduce it for enhancement. Thus, this study was aimed to examine how the negative image is transferred to the subway users and how it is recognized by them, and to specify whether there is avoidance and masking effect on the negative image by presenting the auditory stimuli. In order to achieve the above purpose, method of paired comparison, the qualitative assessment, was used, one-to-one comparison was made between the case where only the negative image of IAPS was presented and the case where the auditory stimuli were presented at the same time, and then 7-point scale evaluation was conducted. As a result of research, there was a high significant difference(P<0.01) between each stimulus of the control group and the experimental group on disgust, and the ranking remained unchanged, and the psychological scale did not change significantly. Even if the auditory sense is faster in cognitive response than the visual sense, it could be seen that a stimulating, intensive visual stimuli didn’t offset the stimuli. In the future, the evaluation by electrocardiogram or brain wave measurement will be conducted as an objective indicator for quantitative evaluation of human body.
