간호대학생의 우울, 월경전후 대처 및 증상 간의 관계

국문 초록

본 연구는 여대생의 우울, 월경전후 대처 및 증상 간의 관계를 파악하기 위해 시도되었다. C시 소재 K 대학교 간호대학생 160명을 대상으로 2018년 5월 1일에서 5월 17일까지 설문을 진행하였다. 설문내용은 일반적 및 월경 관련 특성, 우울, 월경전후 대처 및 증상을 포함한다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 23.0 프로그램을 사용하여 기술통계, t-test, one-way ANOVA와 Pearson’s correlation coefficients로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 평균 초경 연령은 12.80±1.86세이었으며, 월경전후 증상 점수는 평균 68.33±39.38점이었다. 대처방법으로는 월경주기에 따른 대처가 가장 높았으며, 적극적 인지 대처, 회피적 대처, 적극적 행동 대처 순으로 나타났다. 월경전후 증상은 학년(F=2.93, p=.036), 월경통(F=18.82, p<.001), 월경시 진통제 사용(t=6.02, p<.001) 및 월경 가족력(t=3.30, p=.001)과 유의한 차이를 보였다. 주요 변수 간 상관관계에서, 월경전후 증상은 우울(r=.55, p<.001) 및 대처(r=.47, p<.001)과 유의한 양의 상관관계를, 대처는 우울과 유의한 양의 상관관계를 보였다(r=.30, p<.001). 간호대학생의 월경전후 증상을 효과적으로 중재하기 위하여 우울 증상의 중재와 함께 월경에 대한 보다 적극적인 대처방안이 요구된다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to identify the relationship among depression, perimenstrual coping and symptoms in female nursing students. The data collected from 160 nursing students of K university in C city from May 1 to 17, 2018. The measurement included general and menstrual characteristics, depression, perimenstrual coping and symptoms. The collected data were analyzed by using t-test, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), and Pearson correlation coefficient through SPSS 23.0 program. This results showed that mean age of menarche was 12.80±1.86 years, and mean scores of perimenstrual symptoms was 68.33 ± 39.38 points. Menstrual coping was the highest in menstrual cycle specific, followed by active cognitive coping, avoiding coping, and active behavioral coping. Perimenstrual symptoms were significantly correlated with grade (F=2.93, p=.036), menstrual pain (F=18.82, p<.001), use of medication during menstruation (t=6.02, p<=.001) and family history of menstruation (t=3.30, p=.001). In the correlation among the main variables, perimenstrual symptoms were significantly positive correlation with depression (r=.55, p<.001) and menstrual coping (r=.47, p<.001), and coping was a significantly positive correlation with depression (r=.30, p<.001). In order to effectively manage the perimenstrual symptoms of nursing students, mediation of depressive symptoms and more aggressive coping strategies for menstruation are required.
