대학생의 인성교육을 위한 교양교육과정 개발 : E대학을 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 국내 4년제 대학을 중심으로 인성교육의 현황분석 및 E대학 사례를 중심으로 교양교육과정으로 인성교육을 위해 무엇을, 어떻게 가르치고 있는지를 살펴보고 대학생을 위한 인성교육과정 개발의 방향성을 정립하고자 한다. 분석결과, E대학의 인성교육 개발은 다양한 의견수렴을 통한 교육과정 개발을 위해 재학생과 교수를 대상으로 인성교과목에 대한 만족도와 요구도 조사를 실시하였고, 산업체와 전문가를 중심으로 인성교육에 대한 의견을 수렴하는 과정이 있었다. E대학은 교양교육과정에 EU인성영역을 편성하였고, EU인성영역의 소영역에서 대학의 핵심역량 중 봉사헌신 역량을 제고할 수 있는 교과목을 개설하였다. E대학 인성교육과정은 1학년의 경우, 인간의 본성을 이해하고 대학생활 및 대인관계 능력 함양에 중점을 두고 있으며, 2학년의 경우, 인간다움, 소통능력, 리더십 함양에 중점을 두고 있다. 3~4학년은 E대학의 교육이념인 ‘인간사랑과 생명존중’을 기반으로 실천적 인성을 발휘할 수 있도록 하고 있다. 나아가서 교과와 연계된 비교과교육과정을 개발하여 단계별 로드맵을 구성하였다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 대학생의 인성교육을 위한 교양교육과정 개발은 소극적 차원의 인성교육이 아닌 교양교과와 연계된 비교과교육과정도 함께 개발·운영하여 적극적 차원의 인성교육이 필요함을 시사하고 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the present situation of personality education centered on domestic 4 - year universities, to examine what and how to teach personality education through liberal arts curriculum focusing on E university cases and to establish the direction of development of personality curriculum for university students I want to. According to the analysis, the development of character education in E university was organized into EU character education courses, starting with the required survey of professors and businesses, the satisfaction and demand survey of students and professors on personality subjects, and the process of collecting expert opinions. In the small areas of the EU s human rights area, a subject was opened to enhance the ability of universities to contribute to their services. The personality education course at E University focuses on human nature understanding and adapting to college life in the first grade, while in the second year, it focuses on fostering personality, communication skills and servitude leadership. The third and fourth graders focus on exercising practical leadership based on the university s education concept of human love and life-respect. Furthermore, a step-by-step road map was established by developing comparative and educational courses linked to the curriculum. Based on these research results, personality education for university students should be developed and operated with comparative and education courses related to liberal arts, not passive level personality education, so that a positive level of personality education can be achieved.
