진로전담교사 전문성 척도 개발 및 타당화 연구

국문 초록

목적 이 연구는 진로전담교사 전문성 척도를 개발하고, 척도에 대한 신뢰도와 타당도를 검증하는 데 목적이 있다. 방법 이를 위하여 우선 선행연구와 기존 관련 척도들을 고찰하여 진로전담교사 전문성 척도의 예비문항을 구성하였다. 이후 진로전담교사 전문성 관련 내용 전문가 및 현장 전문가에게 내용타당도를 검증받아 예비조사 문항을 확정하고, 현직 진로전담교사 173명을 대상으로 예비조사를 실시하였다. 본 조사는 현직 진로전담교사 225명을 대상으로 실시하였으며 신뢰도 분석과 요인 분석을 통해 요인구조를 확인하고, 수렴타당도, 변별 및 공인타당도 검증을 통해 최종적으로 9개 요인, 32문항으로 구성된 진로전담교사 전문성 척도를 개발하였다. 결과 진로전담교사 전문성의 9개 요인은 ‘진로, 진학, 상담 등 다방면의 전문지식’, ‘다름에 대한 존중’, ‘한번 해보자는 열린마음’, ‘애정어린 열정’, ‘협력 중심의 발전적 문제해결’, ‘학생들의 주도적 성장과 발전 촉진’, ‘진로교육 발전에 긍정적 기여’, ‘개인의 폭넓은 경험’, ‘공동체 학습 경험’이다. 결론 이 연구에서 개발한 진로전담교사 전문성 척도가 신뢰롭고 타당한 척도임이 검증되었기에 향후 진로전담교사의 전문성을 측정하는데 유용한 척도가 될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study aims to develop a scale to assess the professionalism of career teachers and to confirm the reliability and validity of the scale. Methods To achieve this, preliminary items for the scale were constructed by reviewing previous studies and existing relevant scales. The content validity of the preliminary survey items was then confirmed by reviewing them with content experts and field experts in career education and career counseling. A preliminary survey was conducted with 173 current career teachers, and then the main survey was conducted with 225 current career teachers. Reliability analysis and factor analysis confirmed the factor structure, and convergent, discriminant and concurrent validity tests produced a final scale of career teacher professionalism consisting of 9 factors and 32 items. Results The 9 factors of a career teacher's professionalism include ‘multifaceted professional knowledge including career, education, counseling, etc.’, ‘respect for diversity’, ‘open-mindedness to try new things’, ‘passion with affection’, ‘collaborative and progressive problem solving’, ‘facilitation of student-directed growth and development’, ‘positive contribution to career education advancement’, ‘broad personal experiences’, and ‘community learning experiences’. Conclusions As the career teacher professionalism scale developed in this study was found to be reliable and valid, it can be used as a useful tool to measure career teacher professionalism in future research.
