국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 대학생의 학업적 자기효능감과 진로결정효능감, 전공만족도와 대학생활적응의 관계를 알아보고, 진로결정효능감과 전공만족도가 어떠한 매개역할을 하는지 구조적 관계를 분석하였다. 방법 이를 위하여 충청도 소재 대학에 재학 중인 대학생 235명을 대상으로 관련 변인을 측정하기 위한 검사를 실시하였다. 구조방정식 모형에서 외생변인으로서 학업적 자기효능감, 내생변인으로서 진로결정효능감, 전공만족도, 대학생활적응 변인을 설정하고 변인들 간 상관분석을 통해 주요 변인들의 관련성을 살펴보았다. 구조모형 검증을 위해 적합도 검증을 실시하고, 경로계수 산출을 통해 최종모형의 인과관계를 파악하였다. 결과 첫째, 네 개 변인의 상관관계를 확인한 결과, 학업적 자기효능감, 진로결정효능감, 전공만족도, 대학생활적응 간에 유의한 정적 상관을 보였다. 둘째, 상관분석 결과를 토대로 네 변인 간의 구조모형을 검증한 결과, 통계적으로 양호한 수준의 모형임이 확인되었다. 셋째, 대학생활적응에 영향을 미치는 학업적 자기효능감, 진로결정효능감, 전공만족도의 직·간접효과 분석 결과, 학업적 자기효능감은 대학생활적응에 적접적인 영향을 미치며, 진로결정효능감과 전공만족도를 경유할 때 더욱 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 본 연구는 학업적 자기효능감, 진로결정효능감, 전공만족도, 대학생활적응의 구조적 관계를 분석함으로써 학업적 자기효능감이 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향에 진로결정효능감과 전공만족도가 매개역할을 한다는 결론을 도출하였다. 이는 대학생활 위기와 적응의 문제를 해결하고 성공적인 대학생활적응을 돕는데 있어 학업적 자신감, 진로결정에 대한 확신, 전공에 대한 만족이 중요한 역할을 함을 의미하며, 이를 위한 동기적, 인지적 차원의 개입과 학교 차원의 교육적 시사점을 제공하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purposes of this study were to specify the relationship among academic self-efficacy, career de-cision self-efficacy, satisfaction in major and college life adjustment, and to analyze the structural relationships among them. Methods We collected data from 235 students and the collected data were analyzed with structural equation modeling. Results First, academic self-efficacy, career decision self-efficacy, satisfaction in major and college life adjust-ment were statistically significantly related to one another. Second, based on the correlation analysis results, the results of verifying the structural model between the four variables, it was confirmed that the model is statistically good. Third, an analysis of the direct and indirect effects of academic self-efficacy, career decision self-efficacy and satisfaction in major affecting college life adjustment showed that academic self-efficacy has a direct positive effect on college life adjustment, and it has more positive effect on college life adjustment in condition of media-ting career decision self-efficacy and satisfaction in major. Conclusions This study concluded that career decision self-efficacy and satisfaction in major are a mediator be-tween academic self-efficacy and college life adjustment, and it showed that confidence for career decision and satisfaction in major as well as academic self-efficacy are important roles to support successful adjustment on college life. The educational implications such as motivational and cognitive intervention were suggested.
