국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 학교 밖 청소년의 창의적 문제해결력 증진을 위한 디자인 씽킹 프로세스 기반 비형식 환경교육 프로그램을 개발하고 적용하는데 목적이 있다. 방법 이러한 연구의 목적을 달성하고자 디자인 씽킹 프로세스를 활용한 환경 교육 프로그램을 개발하였다. 개발된 비형식 환경 교육프로그램은 G군 청소년상담지원센터 소속 학교 밖 청소년 13명을 대상으로 적용하였다. 이후, 사전/사후 창의적 문제해결력 검사, 만족도 조사 및 심층 인터뷰로 목표달성을 확인하였다. 결과 본 연구의 주제와 관련한 선행연구 및 문헌분석을 바탕으로 비형식 환경교육 전문가 3인이 교육프로그램의 초안을 설계하였다. 교육프로그램 초안에 대해 환경교육 전문가 5인의 평가를 수행하여, 프로그램 완성안을 도출하였다. 이후, 학교 밖 청소년을 대상으로 2021년 5월에서 6월까지 국립부산과학관 <배워서 남 줄 과학 2.0> 12차시 교육프로그램에 적용하여 효과성을 확인하였다. 결론 본 연구에서는 학교 밖 청소년을 대상으로 디자인 씽킹 프로세스를 활용한 비형식 환경교육프로그램을 개발하고 적용하였다. 본 프로그램은 학교 밖 청소년들에게 필요한 핵심역량인 창의적 문제해결력을 기르는데 효과성을 가진다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purposes of this study were to develop and apply an informal environmental education program based on the design thinking process to improve creative problem-solving skills of out-of-school youth. Methods In order to achieve the research objectives, an environmental education program using design thinking process was developed. The developed informal environmental education program was applied to 13 out-of-school teenagers belonging to the G-gun Youth Counseling Support Center. Afterwards, the skills for creative problem solving were investigated by pre- and post-tests accompanying open surveys, and in-depth interviews to judge the achievements of the objectives. Results As represented on previous research and literature analyses, three informal environmental education ex-perts designed a draft of education program. For the completion, the program was evaluated as well as validated by other five experts. Afterwards, the program was applied to the 12th educational program of the Busan National Science Museum from May to June 2021, and its effectiveness was validated. Conclusions In this study, an informal environmental education program using the design thinking process was developed and applied to out-of-school youth. The effectiveness of the program was validated in that creative problem-solving skills and a core competency necessary for out-of-school youth were enhanced.
