보육교사의 직무스트레스가 아동학대 인식에 미치는 영향에서 인성의 매개효과와 조절효과

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 보육교사의 직무스트레스가 아동학대 인식으로 이어지는 과정에서 인성의 매개 및 조절효과를 살펴보는데 그 목적이 있다. 방법 연구대상은 경기도 소재 어린이집에 재직 중인 보육교사 284명을 대상으로 직무스트레스, 인성, 아동학대 인식 척도를 실시하였으며, 이상값을 제외한 271명의 결과를 통해 2021년 5월 24일부터 6월 20일까지 자료를 수집하였다. 자료처리는 SPSS WIN 23.0 프로그램을 사용하여 기술통계, 신뢰도 분석, 상관분석, 매개분석, 조절분석을 실시하였다. 결과 첫째, 보육교사의 직무스트레스와 아동학대 인식은 부적 상관이 있는 것으로 검증되었다. 인성과 직무스트레스는 부적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 인성과 아동학대 인식은 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 검증되었다. 둘째, 보육교사의 인성은 직무스트레스와 아동학대 인식의 관계에서 부분매개역할을 하는 것으로 검증되었다. 셋째, 보육교사의 직무스트레스와 아동학대 인식의 관계에서 인성은 조절효과가 유의하여 인성 수준에 따라 직무스트레스가 아동학대 인식에 미치는 영향이 변하는 것이 검증되었다. 결론 이러한 결과는 보육교사의 직무스트레스가 아동학대 인식에 이르는 과정에서 기저의 변화과정을 야기하는 인성의 역할이 중요함을 보여주었다. 끝으로 보육교사의 아동학대 인식에 영향을 미치는 다각적 요인에 대한 탐색의 필요성을 시사점으로 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating and moderating effects of personality in the process of childcare teachers job stress leading to child abuse awareness. Methods The subject of the study was job stress, personality, and child abuse perception scales for 284 childcare teachers working at daycare centers in Gyeonggi-do. Data were collected from May 24th to June 20th, 2021 through the results of 271 people excluding outliers via data processing, descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, mediation analysis, and control analysis that were performed using the SPSS WIN 23.0 program. Results First, it was verified that there was a negative correlation between the childcare teachers job stress and the perception of child abuse. Moreover, there was a negative correlation between personality and job stress, and it was verified that there is a positive correlation between personality and child abuse perception. Second, the personality of childcare teachers was verified to play a partial mediating role in the relationship between job stress and child abuse perception. Third, the moderating effect of personality on the relationship between childcare teachers job stress and child abuse perception was significant, and it was verified that the effect of job stress on child abuse perception changes according to the personality level. Conclusions These results showed that the role of personality, which causes the underlying change process, is a significant process of childcare teachers job stress leading to child abuse perception. Finally, the need to explore the multifaceted factors that affect childcare teachers perceptions of child abuse is suggested.
