국문 초록

목적 이 연구는 대한체육회 주관 청소년스포츠한마당 사업의 문제점 분석 및 개선방안 도출을 위해 시도된 연구이다. 방법 이 연구를 수행하기 위해 3개 지역 시·도체육회 사업 담당자, 학생선수 및 일반학생, 학생 인솔자 총 15명을 대상으로 눈덩이 표집법을 이용하여 심층면접을 실시하였다. 결과 연구결과 문제점과 개선방안을 네 가지씩 도출할 수 있었다. 문제점으로는 첫째, 사업 취지와는 다른 참여 학생 간 관점의 차이가 존재하였다. 둘째, 대학 입시의 사업 개입으로 인해 대회 본래 의미가 훼손되고 있었다. 셋째, 참여자의 상황을 고려하지 못한 참가자 모집 방식의 문제가 있었다. 넷째, 홍보 및 전달 방법의 문제가 있었다. 개선방안으로는 첫째, 롤 모델로서 지역 내 종목 은퇴 국가대표선수를 활용한 참여학생 수요 충족 프로그램 시행이 필요하다. 둘째, 대한체육회의 사업 실시 규정 강화가 필요하다. 셋째, 참가자 모집 방식의 다변화가 필요하다. 넷째, 온라인 홍보 콘텐츠 개발 및 활성화가 필요하다. 결론 이 연구에서 도출된 내용을 토대로 학생의 수요에 부합하는 콘텐츠의 개발 및 사업 본래 의미를 달성할 수 있는 제도적 보완책 마련 등을 통해 사업의 질적 제고를 도모해 나가야 할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to analyze the problems of Youth Sports Hanmadang organized by the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee(KSOC) and to derive improvement suggestions. Methods In-depth interviews were conducted from 15 selected individuals using the snowball sampling method. Results First, there is a huge gap between the purpose of project and students participating motivation. Second, the original goal of the event is distorted due to the intervention of the university entrance system. Third, the recruitment method does not reflect the participants’ needs properly. Fourth, detailed promotion effort is insufficient. Given that situation, it is required to meet the demand for participating students using a retired national athlete as a role model. Also, a strict application of the KSOC s regulation has to be suggested. Third, recruitment channels should be diversified effectively. Lastly, the event organizer needs to actively stage online promotion campaign. Conclusions Based on the findings of this study, the event organizer is advised to develop contents that meets students’ demand. In addition, to ensure the sustainable sporting event, it is necessary to prepare institutional supplementary measures to achieve the original meaning of the project.
