영유아 안전교육 핵심역량에 대한 보육교사의 인식

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 영유아 안전교육의 목적 달성을 위한 보육교사가 인식하는 핵심역량 요소를 체계적으로 밝히는 데 연구 목적이 있다. 방법 연구대상은 영유아 안전교육과 영유아 안전교육 프로그램 개발에 참여한 경험이 있는 어린이집 현장 교육 경력 10년 이상의 보육교사 20명을 선정하였으며 2020년 1월 3일부터 4월 5일까지 자료를 수집하였다. 자료처리는 SPSS 22.0과 Expert Choice 2000 프로그램을 활용하였으며 Delphi와 AHP 조사를 통해 분석하였다. 결과 본 연구에 대한 결과는 첫째, 보육교사가 인식하는 영유아 안전교육 핵심역량도 전문지식 영역 3개, 지도기술 영역 3개, 개인특성 영역 5개, 교육운영 영역 6개인 총 17개를 최종요인으로 나타났다. 둘째, 일상생활에서 반복적 교육, 안전사고 대비교육, 영유아의 발달 특성에 대한 이해능력, 안전교육을 실시하기 전 수준 및 흥미에 맞게 안전교육 계획, 사전교육 의식의 중요성 등의 순으로 나타났다. 결론 본 연구의 의의와 시사점은 영유아의 안전생활 습관을 위해 보육교사는 안전에 대한 전문 지식을 바탕으로 발달적 단계에 따른 영유아의 행동특성을 이해하고 생활 속에서 반복적인 교육으로 이루어진다는 것을 인식해야 한다. 또한 보육교사의 인식을 함양하기 위해 핵심역량에 적합한 교사교육 프로그램, 사례 중심으로 실시하는 등의 다양한 방안이 필요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to comprehensively identify the competency factors recognized by the child care teachers to achieve the goal of infant safety education. Methods The research subjects for this study are 20 childcare teachers with more than 10 years of experience in field education at daycare centers who have participated in the development of infant safety education and infant safety education programs, and data were collected from January 3 to April 5, 2020. The data processing was conducted using the SPSS 22.0 and Expert Choice 2000 programs and analyzed through Delphi and AHP surveys. Results The results of this study showed that, first, the core competence of infant safety education recognized by child care teachers was 17 final factors, including three areas of expertise, three areas of guidance technology, five areas of personal characteristics, and six areas of education and operation. Second, it was shown in the order of repetitive education in daily life, safety accident preparation education, understanding of the characteristics of infants and children s development, safety education plan, and importance of pre-education rituals. Conclusions The significance and implications of this study should be recognized by the child care teachers to understand the behavioral characteristics of infants according to the developmental stage and repeated education in life-based on their expertise in safety. It also suggests that various measures such as teacher education programs suitable for core competencies and case-oriented implementation are needed to encourage awareness of childcare teachers.
