고등학생이 지각한 학업정서와 진로성숙도가 학교생활 만족도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 고등학생이 지각하는 학업정서, 진로성숙도가 학교생활 만족도에 미치는 영향과 이들의 영향 관계에서 남녀 성별에 따른 영향력을 분석하였다. 방법 이를 위하여 충청북도 소재의 인문계 고등학생 414명 중, 응답이 불충분한 21명을 제외한 393명의 설문 응답 결과를 분석에 사용하였다. SPSS 23.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, Pearson의 상관관계 분석을 실시하였다. 성별에 따른 주요변인들의 차이를 알아보기 위해 t검정을 실시하였고, 성별에 따라 학업정서와 진로성숙도가 학교생활 만족도에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위하여 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 결과 고등학생이 지각한 학업정서 전체와 진로성숙도 전체는 유의미한 상관관계가 나타나지 않았으나, 학업정서의 하위요인과 진로성숙도의 하위요인들에서는 유의미한 상관관계가 나타났다. 학업정서 전체와 진로성숙도 전체는 학교생활 만족도와 유의한 상관관계가 나타났다. 고등학교 여학생은 남학생에 비해 학업정서 전체, 학업정서 하위요인의 일부(지루함, 분노, 불안), 진로성숙도 전체, 진로성숙도 하위요인의 일부(준비성)를 높게 지각하는 것으로 나타났다. 남학생은 여학생에 비해 학업정서의 즐거움과 학교생활 만족도를 높게 지각하는 것으로 나타났다. 남학생이 지각하는 학업정서 전체, 진로성숙도 전체, 진로성숙도의 하위요인 일부(확신성, 준비성)는 학교생활 만족도에 통계적으로 유의한 정적(+) 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 여학생이 지각하는 학업정서 전체, 학업정서의 하위요인 일부(즐거움, 희망, 긍지), 진로성숙도 전체, 진로성숙도의 확신성이 학교생활 만족도에 통계적으로 유의한 정적(+) 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 하지만, 진로성숙도의 독립성은 학교생활 만족도에 부적(-) 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 고등학생이 지각하는 학업정서와 진로성숙도는 학교생활 만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치고 있으며, 성별에 따라 일부 차이가 있음을 보여준다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 학교생활 만족도를 향상하기 위한 방안 및 제한점을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The objectives of this study were to compare and analyze the effects of academic emotion and career maturity perceived by high school students on their school-life satisfaction by gender and to derive unique, innovative, and effective measures to improve school-life satisfaction. Methods This study analyzed the questionnaire responses of 393 high school students after excluding the questionnaire responses of 21 students, which were insufficient, from 414 academic high school students residing in Chungcheongbuk-do Province. This study performed descriptive statistics and Pearson s correlation analysis using SPSS ver. 23.0. t-test was conducted to evaluate the effects of gender on major variables, and multiple regression analysis was carried to identify the effects of gender on academic emotion, career maturity, and school-life satisfaction. Results The overall academic emotion perceived by high school students was not significantly correlated with the overall career maturity of them. However, the sub-factors of academic emotion and those of career maturity were significantly correlated. Academic emotion and career maturity were significantly correlated with school-life satisfaction. The results showed that female students perceived overall academic emotion, some sub-factors of academic emotion (i.e., boredom, anger, and anxiety), overall career maturity, and some sub-factors of career maturity (preparedness) higher than male students. It was found that male students perceived the joy of academic emotion and school-life satisfaction higher than female students. The overall academic emotion, overall career maturity, and some sub-factors of career maturity (i.e., certainty and preparedness) affected school-life satisfaction significantly and positively. It was also found that the overall academic emotion, some sub-factors of academic emotion, overall career maturity, and certainty of career maturity perceived by female students had a significant and positive impact on school-life satisfaction. However, the independence of career maturity influenced school-life satisfaction negatively. Conclusions The results showed that academic emotion and career maturity perceived by high school students significantly affected school-life satisfaction and the effects were different between gender in some cases. This study discussed methods and limitations for improving school-life satisfaction based on the results of this study.
