그림책 읽기에서 나타난 보육교사의 실천적 지식 탐색

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 그림책 읽기에서 나타난 보육교사의 실천적 지식을 탐색함으로써 보육교사 실천적지식의 중요성을 재조명해 보고, 나아가 보육교사의 실천적 지식 형성에 필요한 교육프로그램의 기초자료를 제공하기 위함이다. 방법 이를 위해 2020년 2월부터 2021년 9월까지 경기도 S시 B어린이집의 2학급을 참여관찰 하였으며, 담임교사 2인과 면담을 실시하였다. 관찰은 오전 10시부터 12시까지를 중심으로 그림책 읽기 활동과 확장활동을 포함하여 총 36회가 이루어졌으며, 수집된 자료는 참여관찰일지, 면담전사본, 연구일지 등이며, 자료를 범주화하여 귀납적으로 분석하는 질적 분석방법으로 분석하였다. 결과 첫째, 그림책읽기에서 보육교사는 유아중심 교육과정을 수행하는 실천적 지식을 드러내고 있다. 둘째, 교사는 교육과정을 관행적으로 수행하는 실천적 지식을 드러내고 있다. 셋째, 교사는 안전과 도전의 딜레마 상황에서 자신의 신념과 관여된 실천적 지식을 드러내고 있다. 넷째, 교사는 경험으로 축적되어 온 암묵적인 실천적 지식을 드러내고 있다. 결론 본 연구는 가시적이고 명시적으로 드러나지는 않지만 교사들의 삶을 통해 형성되고, 교수행위에 암묵적으로 녹아져있는 실천적 지식을 이해함으로써 보육교사의 경험으로 체화된 실천적 지식의 의미를 드러낸 데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to reexamine the importance of practical knowledge of child care teachers by exploring practical knowledge of child care teachers in picture book reading, and to provide basic data for education programs necessary for the formation of practical knowledge of child care teachers. Methods For this two classes of B Chile Care Center in S city, Gyeonggi-do were observed from February 2020 to September 2021, and two teachers were interviewed. The observation was conducted 36 times including picture book reading activities and expansion activities from 10:00 am to 12:00 am, and the collected data were analyzed by qualitative analysis method which categorizes and analyzes data inductively, including participation observation journal, interview transcript, and research journal. Results First, in picture book reading, child care teachers reveal practical knowledge of performing child-centered curriculum. Second, teachers reveal practical knowledge that performs the curriculum conventionally. Third, teachers reveal practical knowledge related to their beliefs in the dilemma of safety and challenge. Fourth, teachers reveal the tacit practical knowledge which has been accumulated through experience. Conclusions This study is meaningful it that it revealed the meaning of practical knowledge accumulated through experience of child care teachers by understanding the practical knowledge which is formed through the life of teachers and tacitly dissolved in teaching behavior even if it is not visibly and explicitly revealed.
