국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 2019 개정누리과정에 기초해 이루어지는 자유로운 음악놀이 안에서 나타나는 만 5세들의 심미적 경험에 대해 분석한 연구로, 관찰된 심미적 경험을 지적, 정서적, 실천적 영역에서 분석 및 개념화 하여 유아들에게 음악놀이가 심미적으로 어떠한 의미가 있는지 알아보는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 방법 총 26명의 만 5세 유아를 대상으로 총 4주에 걸쳐 20회 총 70시간의 참여관찰을 통해 자유놀이 시간에 유아주도적으로 이루어지는 음악놀이를 관찰하였다. 현장기록과 녹화내용, 토론내용, 사진등의 수집된 자료들은 질적 연구 분석 단계의 과정을 거쳐 심미적 경험의 주제와 개념이 도출되었다. 결과 첫째, 심미적 경험의 지적인 측면에서 유아들은 새로운 악기들에 대한 관심과 탐색이 이루어졌으며 악기에 대한 관찰과 연주를 통해 악기를 연주하는 방법에 대한 새로운 정보와 지식에 대해 알게 되었다. 둘째, 정서적 측면에서 유아들은 음악놀이에서 다양한 감정표현을 하면서 서로를 배려하며 타인을 이해하는 모습으로 놀이가 이루어 졌다. 또한, 놀이속에서 흥미로움을 경험하였으며 몰입을 통해 자신의 감정에 대해 적극적인 표현이 나타났다. 마지막으로 심미적 경험의 실천적 측면에서 유아들은 또래들과의 소통을 통해 놀이가 발현적으로 이루어지며 음악놀이에서 시작하여 다양한 영역으로 확장되는 놀이가 나타났다. 결론 본 연구에서 교사주도적인 음악활동이 아닌 유아주도의 자유로운 음악놀이를 관찰을 통해 나타난 유아들의 심미적 경험을 본 것이 기존 연구와 차별화되는 의의를 갖는다. 유아들의 자발적 몰입을 통해 유아들은 음악의 요소인 리듬, 박자, 소리의 탐구를 통해 자신의 생각과 느낌을 자유롭게 표현할 수 있는 기회를 갖게 되었고 놀이에 몰입하며 심미적 표현과 발달이 나타났다. 유아들의 놀이의 면밀한 관찰을 토대로 교사들의 풍부한 지원이 놀이의 확장과 변화가 나타남이 드러났다. 이는 교사들의 적절한 놀이지원의중요성 및 놀이의 본질과 가치에 대한 시사점을 제공한다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study aims to analyze the aesthetic experiences of 5-year-olds that appear in free music play based on the 2019 revised Nuri-curriculum. The purpose was to analyze the observed aesthetic experiences in terms of intellectual, emotional, and practical aspects in an classroom environment in which children can play music. Methods A total of 26 5-year-olds were observed for a total of 70 hours of participation observation over a total of 4 weeks, 20 times, to observe the infant-led music play during free play time. The themes and concepts of aesthetic experience were derived from the collected data such as field records, recorded contents, discussions, and photos through the process of qualitative research and analysis. Results First, in the intellectual aspect of aesthetic experience, children were interested in and searched for new instruments, and learned new information and knowledge about how to play instruments through observation and performance. Second, in terms of emotionality, children expressed various emotions in music play, caring for each other, and understanding others. Lastly, in the practical aspect of the aesthetic experience, play is made expressive through communication with their peers, and play that starts with music play and expands into various fields appeared. Conclusions In this study, it is meaningful that it is different from previous studies in that we saw children s aesthetic experiences through observation of children-led free musical play rather than teacher-led music activities. Through their flow experience, they had the opportunity to freely express their thoughts and feelings through the exploration of rhythm, beat, and sound, which are elements of music, and aesthetic expression and development appeared while immersed in play. Based on close observation of children s play, it was revealed that the abundant support of teachers resulted in expansion and change of play. This provides implications for the importance of teachers appropriate play support and the nature and value of play.
