국문 초록

초고속 네트워크 기반 환경이 구축되고 모바일 기기 보급이 일상화되면서 하루에도 수백억 기가바이트 이상의빅데이터가 발생하고 있다. 빅데이터 발생의 주요한 요인 중 하나가 사용자의 일상, 느낌을 공유하는 SNS를 들수 있다. SNS를 통해 최근 코로나 팬데믹 상황에서 대학생들의 주요 관심사가 무엇이고, 코로나 이전과는 어떤차이가 있는지를 알 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 대학생들이 주로 사용하는 소셜 네트워크 서비스인 에브리타임을 대상으로 소셜 빅데이터 마이닝을 수행하여 코로나 상황에서 더 나은 학교생활에 대한 대책을 제안할 수 있는 근거를 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해 에브리타임 게시판에 올라온 글을 수집하고 크롤링하여 관심도분석, 연관분석을진행하였다. 분석 결과, 대학생들이 강의, 과제, 알바, 고민 등에 주로 관심을 보였고, 그 주요 관심사의 초점이코로나 이전과 이후에 달라지는 것으로 확인되었다. 이는 표적집단면담에서도 일관되는 것으로 확인되었다. 이런결과를 토대로, 빅데이터의 출처로서 에브리타임의 가치를 밝히고, 대학정책수립과정에 에브리타임을 적극 활용할것을 제안했다.

영문 초록

More than tens of billions of gigabytes of big data have been generated per day. This increase may be due to the establishment of a high-speed network-based environment and the daily distribution of mobile devices. One of the major factors in the occurrence of big data is: SNS, through which platform users share their daily lives and feelings. By using SNS, the main interests of college students and how they have changed through Covid-19 can be tracked. In this study, we aim to propose measures to improve school life during the pandemic; by conducting social big data mining on ‘Every time’- a social network service designed mainly for college students. The method employed: texts from Every time were extracted and analyzed by using frequency and semantic analyses. The study results reveal the following: (1) the main interests revolving around ‘lectures’, ‘assignments’, ‘part-time jobs’, and ‘concerns’ have changed; (2) The function of ‘Every time’ is not confined to the platform for information exchange only. It also offers emotional support and fosters a sense of community. In conclusion, this study confirms the value of ‘Every time’ as a source of big data and argues that universities should refer to ‘Every time’ when making education policies.
