국문 초록

이 연구는 한국어 학습자의 문화적 문식력 향상을 위해 설화 교육을 여러 단계에 걸쳐 진행한 실행 연구이다. 문화적 문식력은 자문화와 목표 문화와 관련되어 공유된 지식의 이해와 가치 체계의 해석을 기반으로 문화를 생산할 수 있는 능력이다. 이를 위해 본고는 ‘계획 실행 성찰’의 주기적 순환과 교수자의 반성적 사고를 통해 설화교육 내용과 교수 학습 방법을 한국어 학습자들에게 적용해서 얻은 결과를 구체적으로 제시하였다. 1차 교수 학습의 계획과 실행의 분석 결과 학습자들은 자의식의 투영 및 강화, 전통적 가치와 규범의 준수, 자기반성을 통한 합리적 해결 방안을 모색하는 양상을 보였다. 2차 교수 학습의 수정과 실행에서는 신뢰로 형성되는 부부 관계, 소통이 필요한 모자 관계, 상호 이해를 기반으로 한 고부 관계 등 가족 관계에 대한 심화된 이해를 보였다. 3차 교수 학습의 수정과 실행의 분석 결과는 원초적인 욕망인 행복의 성취, 징벌에 의한 불완전한해후, 인과응보에 의한 비극적 최후로 유형화하였다. 설화는 한국인의 가치, 신념, 제도, 행위 등 다양한 측면을 반영하여 한국어 학습자의 한국 사회와 문화에 대한 문화적 문식력을 향상할 수 있는 유용한 교육 제재이며 설화 실행 교육을 통해 이를 확인할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

This study is an action research conducted in several stages of folktales education to improve the cultural literacy of Korean language learners. Cultural literacy is the ability to produce culture based on the understanding of shared knowledge and interpretation of the value system related to self-culture and the target culture. To this end, this paper specifically presented the results obtained by applying the contents of falktales education and teaching and learning methods to Korean learners through periodic cycles of “planning, implementation, and reflection” and reflective thinking of professors. As a result of the analysis of the primary teaching/learning plan and execution, learners showed a pattern of seeking rational solutions through the projection and reinforcement of self-consciousness, compliance with traditional values and norms, and self-reflection. In the revision and implementation of the second teaching/learning, deepened understanding of family relationships such as marital relationships formed by trust, mother-child relationships that require communication, and father-daughter relationships based on mutual understanding were shown. The results of the analysis of the tertiary teaching and learning revision and implementation were categorized as the achievement of happiness, which is the original desire, an incomplete settlement by punishment, and a tragic end by causality and retribution. It is a useful educational sanction that can improve Korean learners’ cultural literacy in Korean society and culture by reflecting various aspects such as values, beliefs, institutions, and behaviors of Koreans.
