은환유를 통한 중국어 ‘雨’ 표현 고찰

국문 초록

본 논문은 ‘雨’의 명명과 관용표현을 대상으로 인지언어학적 관점에서 은환유의 양상을 고찰하는데 주된 목적을 둔다. 날씨와 관련된 표현은 언중의 보편적인 경험과 사고방식을 뚜렷하게 반영하고 있어 정신세계와 언어적 습관을 밝히는데 중요한 대상이 된다. 이를 위해 北京大學中國語言學硏究中心 CCL, 고려대 중한사전, 연세 중중한사전, 흑룡강 중한사전에서 연구대상을 추출하여 살펴보았다. 가랑비類 및 소나기類의 명명과 사자성어는 대부분‘환유로부터의 은유’에 해당하며 이외 소수 기상어휘는 ‘은유 속 환유’로 개념화된 것을 볼 수 있었다. 이 연구는지금까지 ‘은유’와 ‘환유’를 이분화하여 이루어지던 연구 관점에 그치지 않고 ‘은환유’의 상호보완적 접근으로 시도한 것에 의의를 지닌다.

영문 초록

This study explored the conceptual, metaphtonymy patterns of idiomatic expressions using “ (yu).” Clearly reflecting common experiences and ways of thinking in words, idiomatic expressions are essential in showing one’s mental state and communication habits. for this purpose, research subjects were extracted and examined from Center for Chinese Linguistics, Center for Chinese Linguistics Peking University (CCL), Korea University Chinese-Korean Dictionary, Yonsei Chinese- Korean Dictionary, and Heilongjiang Chinese-Korean Dictionary. Most of the names and idioms of drizzle category and shower category correspond to metaphor from metonymy, and some other weather vocabularies were conceptualized as metonymy within metaphor. This study has significance in that it is not limited to the research perspective that has been carried out by bisecting ‘metaphor’ and ‘metonymy’, but has been attempted as a complementary approach of ‘metaphtonymy’.
