온라인 기반 대중음악 공연의 활성화 방향 고찰

국문 초록

코로나-19의 전 세계적 확산으로 인하여 최근 정부 지침에 따라 사회적 거리두기가 강도 높게 시행되고 있다. 이로 인해 오프라인 공연시장은 크게 위축되었고, 예술 공연 산업이 대폭 축소되어 다시 회복 및 성장할 시점을예측하기 어려운 상황이다. 따라서 문화 예술 공연 산업계는 기존 오프라인 공연 위주의 산업구조를 탈피한 대비책을 마련하고, 산업을 발전시킬 방안을 모색해야 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 언택트 시대에 온라인 대중음악 공연의 활성화 방법과 한계점 및 발전방향을 전문가 인터뷰를 통해 고찰해 보았다. 연구결과 대중음악을 실행하고있는 전문가, 콘텐츠 제작자 등은 온라인 대중음악 공연의 활성화에 대하여 긍정적인 시각을 갖고 있었으며, 그필요성에 대해 인지하고 있었다. 또한, 그들은 대중음악 산업의 생존과 발전을 위해서는 시대와 환경에 맞춰진 서비스가 제공 되어야하고 이를 위한 정부 및 기업 투자가 뒷받침 되어야함을 언급하였다. 다만 과거의 무료 제공서비스의 경험으로 인해 팬덤이 부족한 상태에서의 온라인 콘텐츠 유료화는 한계가 있음을 지적하였다. 이러한 인터뷰 결과는 언택트 시대에 대중음악의 온라인 공연 활성화 및 발전 방안을 수립함에 있어 중요한 시사점을 제공한다.

영문 초록

With COVID-19, which began in 2019, the government is restricting social distancing and distancing in daily life. As a result, the offline performance market has been greatly contracted and the entire related industry has been greatly reduced, which made it difficult to predict when the market will recover. Therefore, the culture and art performance industry must deviate from the existing industrial structure mainly focused on offline performances, prepare a countermeasure, and seek ways to develop the industry. This study investigated the possibility, limitations, and development directions of online popular music performances in the un-tact era through expert interviews. As a result of the study, experts and content creators who are in music industry recognized the necessity of paying online music performances from a positive perspective. They mentioned that for the survival and development of the music industry, both environment suitable services and investment of a government and corporate goes hand in hand. However, the limitation lies in online payments when it lacks of fandom. The results of these interviews provide important implications in establishing a plan for revitalizing and developing online music businesses in the un-tact era. As a follow-up of this study, it is necessary to study the development direction for the diverse genre of music.
