코로나-19 시대 예비유아교사의 유아과학교육 운영에 관한 실행연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 2020년 발생한 코로나-19 대유행 속에서 비대면 방식을 통해 예비유아교사들의 ‘2019 개정 누리과정’의 이해와 놀이지원자로서의 교사 역할 탐구에 관한 유아과학교육 운영방안을 모색하여 실행하고, 그 효과를 살펴본 것이다. 연구기간은 2020년 3월부터 5월까지이며, 연구대상은 유아과학교육 교과목을 수강하고 있는 예비유아교사 43명이다. 본 연구의 실행방안은 관련 문헌과 유아과학교육 교과목 문제점 인식을 토대로 온라인 방식으로 1, 2차에 걸쳐 이루어졌다. 1차 실행에서는 과학에 대한 긍정적 태도 형성을 위한 일상 속에서 과학적 호기심 해결하기와 개정 누리과정이 추구하는 놀이를 예비유아교사들도 경험하도록 했다. 2차 실행에서는 개정 누리과정의 이해 증진과 교사 역할 탐구를 위해 개정 누리과정에 맞추어 놀이 분석하기와 놀이 지원하기가 실시되었다. 1, 2차 실행방안을 통해 예비유아교사들은 일상 속의 과학 깨닫기, 과학에 대한 긍정적 인식 변화, 개정 누리과정에 대한 이해 향상, 과학 교수의 자신감 향상의 교육적 효과를 얻었다. 본 연구는 코로나-19 대유행 속에서 ‘2019 개정 누리과정’을 반영한 예비유아교사의 유아과학교육 교과목 운영에 관한 실증적 방안을 제시했다는 점에서 의의를 가진다.

영문 초록

This study is to examine the effects of the program by seeking ways to improve the science teaching ability of pre-service early childhood teachers during COVID-19 pandemic. The study period is from March to May 2020, and the subjects of this study are 43 pre-service early childhood teachers who are taking the subject of early childhood science education. This study is conducted non-face-to-face due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This study is conducted on the first and second action based on the recognition of problems in the subject of early childhood science education. In the first action, ‘Resolving Scientific Curiosity in Everyday Life’ is conducted to form a positive attitude toward science. In addition, ‘Free Play’ and ‘Flour Play’ are conducted so that they can experience the play pursued by ‘2019 Nuri Curriculum’. In the second action, ‘Analyzing Play’ and ‘Supporting Play’ are conducted in accordance with ‘2019 Nuri Curriculum’ to enhance science teaching ability. Through the first and second actions, pre-service early childhood teachers get educational effects of realizing science in everyday life, changing positive perception of science, improving understanding of ‘2019 Nuri Curriculum’, and improving confidence in science professors. This study has the meaning that it presents the direction of pre-service teacher education on early childhood science education during COVID-19 pandemic.
