쓰기 능력 수준에 따른 읽기 효능감, 읽기 상위인지, 읽기 능력 분석

국문 초록

이 연구는 쓰기 능력 수준에 따라 읽기 효능감, 읽기 상위인지, 읽기 능력에 있어서 차이가 존재하는지, 그 정도는 어떠한지를 분석하기 위하여 시행되었다. 고등학교 2학년 50명을 연구 대상으로 하여 읽기 효능감, 읽기 상위인지, 읽기 능력 및 쓰기 능력의 자료를 수집하였다. 2020년 9월에서 10월 사이에 4개 학급에 연구의 취지를 설명하였고 이에 동의한 58명을 대상으로 최초 자료를 수집하였으나, 모든 절차에 참여한 50명의 자료가 최종 선정되었다. 먼저 쓰기 능력에 대한 읽기 효능감, 읽기 상위인지, 읽기 능력 각각의 상관 관계를 분석한 결과는 모두 통계적으로 유의하였으며 이들은 모두 낮은 정적 상관을 나타냈다. 다음으로 쓰기 능력 수준에 따른 읽기 효능감, 읽기 상위인지, 읽기 능력의 차이를 분석한 결과, 쓰기 상 수준의 집단과 쓰기 하 수준의 집단 사이에서 세 가지 읽기 변인들의 차이가 모두 통계적으로 유의미한 것으로 확인되었다. 다시 말해 쓰기 상 집단은 쓰기 하 집단보다 읽기 효능감, 읽기 상위인지, 읽기 능력이 모두 높았으며 이는 통계적으로 의미 있는 수치이다. 이들에 대한 효과 크기를 산출한 결과 쓰기 능력 상, 하 집단 사이에서 가장 큰 값을 보인 변인은 읽기 능력(1.25)이었으며, 읽기 상위인지(1.13), 읽기 효능감(0.98) 순으로 효과 크기가 나타났다.

영문 초록

The study analyzed whether there are differences in reading self-efficacy, reading meta-cognition, and reading ability depending on the level of writing ability. Data were collected on the reading self-efficacy, reading meta-cognition, reading ability, and writing ability of the second-grade students at a highschool. First of all, the results of the analysis of the correlation between writing ability and reading self-efficacy, writing ability and reading meta-cognition, and writing ability and reading ability were all statistically significant respectively. they all showed low correlations. Next, the differences in reading self-efficacy, reading meta-cognition, and their reading ability were analyzed depending on the level of writing ability. As a result, differences in reading variables between high-level and low-level student groups were statistically significant. Calculating the effect size, the reading ability(1.25) was the highest value, followed by the reading meta-cognition(1.13), and the reading self-efficacy(0.98).
