교수역량에 대한 교수자와 학습자의 인식 분석을 통한 교수역량 강화 방안 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 교수역량의 중요도와 실행도에 대한 교수자와 학습자 간의 인식 차이를 분석하고 교수역량 강화 방안을 탐색하는 데 있다. 본 연구를 위해 충남 소재의 K대학과 S대학의 교수자와 학습자를 대상으로 교수역량 중요도와 실행도에 대한 설문을 실시하였고 수집된 615건의 자료는 Stata IC 14를 사용하여 t-test, 대응표본 t-test, Borich 요구도 산출, The Locus for Focus 모델 분석을 시행하였다. 본 연구를 통해 도출된 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째 교수역량의 중요도와 실행도에 대한 인식에는 교수자와 학습자 간에 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 중요도의 경우 수업역량군과 개선역량군에서 학습자의 인식이 유의하게 높게 나타났고 실행도의 경우 기본역량군에서 교수자의 인식이 개선역량군에서 학습자의 인식이 유의하게 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 교수역량 강화를 위해 개선이 요구되는 교수역량에 대한 인식에서도 교수자와 학습자 간 차이가 나타났다. 교수자는 교육전문성, 학생과의 관계, 강의준비, 전개를 학습자는 교수로의 소양, 학생과의 관계, 커뮤니케이션, 과제 및 평가를 최우선 개선요구 교수역량으로 인식하였다. 이와 같은 연구결과를 바탕으로 교수역량 강화를 위한 논의와 시사점을 제시하고 연구의 일반화를 위한 후속연구를 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the study is to analyze the difference in perception between the professor and the learner on the importance and practice of teaching competency, to examine the teaching competency that be improved and explore methods to strengthen teaching competencies. For this study, professors and learners of K University and S University in Chungnam were surveyed on the importance and practice of teaching competencies. The 615 collected data were analyzed using Stata IC 14, t-test, response sample t-test, Borich Needs, and The Locus for Focus Model. The results from this study are as follows. First, there were significant differences between professors and learners’ the perception of the importance and practice of teaching competencies. In the case of importance, the perception of the learners was significantly higher than that of the professors in the lecture competency group and improvement competency group, and in the practice, the perception of the professor was higher in the basic competency group, and the perception of the learner was significantly higher in the improvement competency group. Second, there were also differences between professors and learners’ perception of teaching competencies, which need to be improved. The professor recognized educational expertise, relationship with students, preparation for lectures, and development, and the learners recognized teaching skills, relationship with students, communication skills, tasks, and evaluation as the teaching competencies that require to be improved first. Based on these results discussions and implications to strengthen teaching competencies were presented and follow-up researches to generalize this study were proposed.
