유아 문해 관련 국내 연구 동향 분석: 2000년부터 2019년까지

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아 문해 관련 국내 연구 동향을 살펴봄으로써 추후 유아 문해 분야의 체계적 발전을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는 데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 2000년부터 2019년까지 국내에서 수행된 유아 문해 관련 등재 학술지 논문 총 194편을 연구시기별, 연구대상별, 연구방법별, 연구영역별, 연구주제별 동향을 분석하였다. 분석 결과를 살펴보면 연구시기별로는 2000년 중반부터 증가세를 보이다가 최근 10년간 유아 문해 관련 연구의 수행이 감소하는 추세임을 알 수 있다. 연구대상별로는 유아 대상 연구가 가장 많았고, 성인 대상 연구, 유아와 성인 대상 혼합 연구, 문헌 연구, 문해교육환경 연구 순이었다. 연구방법별로는 양적 연구가 가장 많았으며, 질적 연구가, 문헌 연구, 혼합 연구 순으로 나타났다. 연구영역별로는 읽기와 쓰기를 모두 다룬 연구가 가장 많았으며, 읽기만 다룬 연구, 쓰기만 다룬 연구 순으로 나타났다. 연구주제별로는 교수법이 가장 많았으며, 읽기 발달, 문해 발달, 쓰기 발달, 교수 매체, 부모 환경, 프로그램 개발 및 적용, 교사 환경, 물리적 환경, 교육과정 이론/영역 순으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 향후 유아 문해 분야의 연구 발전을 위해 필요한 연구방향 및 교육적 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine research trends in early literacy studies published in Korea from 2000 to 2019, in order to understand overall aspects in research topics, periods, methods, and subjects in early literacy studies and to suggest directions for future early literacy studies. As a result of this study, it can be seen that the number of researches related to early literacy has been on the rise since the mid-2000s by research period, but has declined in the last 10 years. By study subject, studies on young children were the most, followed by studies on adults, mixed studies on young children and adults, literature studies, and studies on literacy education environment. By research method, quantitative research was the most, followed by qualitative research, literature research, and mixed research. By research area, studies that dealt with both reading and writing were the most, followed by studies dealing only with reading and those dealing with only writing. By research subject, teaching method was the most common, followed by reading development, literacy development, writing development, teaching media, parental environment, program development and application, teacher environment, physical environment, and curriculum theory/area. Based on these results, the research direction and educational implications necessary for the future research and development in the field of early literacy were presented.
