국문 초록

본 연구는 시 교육에서 상상력의 문제를 중심으로 한 교육 방법을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 시 교육에 있어 상상력 논의를 시를 해석하는 주체 입장에서의 실천적 활동으로 재개념화하고, 독자의 상상력이 시 해석에 있어 작용하는 양상과 상상력을 가능하게 하는 시 교육 방법을 본격적으로 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해서 시해석 과정에서 독자의 상상력 양상을 살피고, 시를 경험하는 행위의 본질적 원리인 상상력을 기반으로 하여 시 교육을 받는 독자가 시를 해석하는 능력을 원활하게 증진해 갈 수 있는 방법을 모색하였다. 이를 통해 본 연구에서는 시 해석 과정에서의 상상력 양상을 지각적 재생의 상상력, 전이적 구성의 상상력, 창조적 생성의 상상력으로 살피고 이를 토대로 상상력 계발을 위한 시 교육의 방법을 유사성 발견하기, 차별성 분석하기, 형상적 표현하기, 타당성 검증하기로 구안하였다. 본 연구는 시 해석과정에 작용하는 독자의 적극적인 상상 활동에 주목하여 시 교육의 방향을 점검하였다는 데 의의를 지닌다. 이상의 논의들이 시 교육 현장에 적용되기 위해서는 학습 독자 변인에 대한 보다 상세한 고찰이 필요하며 이는 후속 논의를 통해 보완해 나가고자 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to suggest an educational method centered on the problem of imagination in poetry education. In poetry education, the imagination discussion was re-conceptualized as a practical activity from the perspective of the subject interpreting poetry, and the poetry education method that enabled the reader s imagination to act in poetry interpretation was attempted in earnest. To this end, I looked at the reader s imagination in the process of interpreting poetry, and sought ways to smoothly improve the ability of readers who received poetry education to interpret poetry based on imagination, the essential principle of the act of experiencing poetry. Through this, this study examines the aspects of imagination in the process of interpreting poetry as the imagination of perceptual reproduction, the imagination of transitional construction, and the imagination of creative creation. Based on this, the method of poetry education for developing imagination is to find similarity for the reproduction of experience, to analyze the differentiation for the construction of the experience, to express for the creation of the experience, and to verify for the communication of the experience. This study has significance in that it examined the direction of poetry education by paying attention to the reader s imaginative activities in the process of interpreting poetry. In order for the above discussions to be applied to the field of poetry education, more detailed consideration of the variables of learning readers is needed, and this is to be supplemented through further discussion.
