사이버대학 성인학습자의 디지털 리터러시 격차와 지원 프로그램에 대한 요구분석

국문 초록

이 연구는 사이버대학 성인 학습자들의 디지털 리터러시 역량 수준을 확인해 보고, 성공적인 학습과 학교생활을 위한 디지털 리터러시 역량 강화 지원체계에 대한 요구를 도출하여 이를 통해 사이버대학교 성인학습자의 디지털 리터러시 역량 지원활동에서의 시사점을 논의하기 위한 목적으로 실시되었다. 구체적으로 대전 소재 K사이버대학교 재학생을 대상으로 디지털 리터러시 역량 수준을 연령과 입학 전 학력별로 살펴보고, 학습자들의 요구사항을 활동이론을 분석을 틀로 하여 분석하였다. 설문은 2020년 3월 30일부터 4월 11일까지 온라인으로 진행하였으며, 디지털 리터러시 수준을 5개 역량군으로 확인하고 추가로 디지털 관련 문제 해결방법과 자유로운 요구사항에 대한 의견을 수집하였다. 연구결과 정보와 자료검색 역량, 콘텐츠 개발역량은 연령대가 낮고 학력이 높을수록 높은 수준을 보였으며, 의사소통 역량은 연령에 의한 효과가 컸으며, 안전과 보안 역량과 문제해결 역량은 연령과 입학 전 학력에 관계 없이 모두 낮은 수준을 보였다. 디지털 리터러시 역량 강화 프로그램에 대한 요구사항은 구체적인 학습 목표의 제시, 프로그램의 시기와 학습규칙, 커뮤니티 차원의 활동, 학습시스템에서의 상호작용에 대한 요구사항이 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to identify the digital literacy competency level of cyber university adult learners and to derive the demand for a digital literacy competency supporting program for successful learning and school life. Through these derived demands, the implications for the digital literacy competency supporting program of adult learners at Cyber University were derived. Specifically, an online questionnaire was conducted for 575 students from K Cyber University in Daejeon to examine the level of digital literacy competency by age and pre-admission. And the requirements of learners were analyzed by applying activity theory as a framework. The survey was conducted from March 30 to April 11, 2020, and the level differences of the five competency groups of digital literacy and the requirements for the competency supporting program were collected. The questionnaire was conducted from March 30 to April 11, 2020, and the gaps in the five competency groups were collected on for digital literacy, solutions to digital problems, and free requirements. As a result of the study, the lower the age group and the higher the educational background are, the higher the ability both to search for information and data and to develop content are. However, communication competence is influenced by age, and safety and security competency, and problem-solving competency are all low, regardless of age and education. The requirements for the Digital Literacy Enhancement Program were to provide specific learning goals, timing and learning rules, community-level activities, and interactions in the learning system. At the end of the study, a follow-up study was proposed based on the limitations of this study.
