학생의 자기주도학습 및 독서활동과 학업성취도 간의 자기회귀 교차지연 효과분석

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 부산교육종단연구(BELS)2016의 1~3차년도 데이터를 사용하여 자기주도학습 및 독서활동과 학업성취도 간의 자기회귀 교차지연 효과를 분석하고 비교하였다. 부산광역시 1,753명의 초등학교 4학년부터 6학년까지 3년간의 종단자료를 사용하여 변인별 기술통계, 상관분석, 자기회귀교차지연모형 분석을 실시한 결과, 첫째, 자기주도학습과 학업성취도, 독서활동과 학업성취도 간에는 정적상관관계가 존재하였다. 둘째, 학생의 자기주도학습과 독서활동은 시간의 경과에 따라 안정적이었다. 셋째, 학업성취도 역시 시간의 경과에 따라 안정적이었다. 넷째, 이전 시점의 자기주도학습은 다음 시점의 학업성취도에 유의하게 부적영향을 미치고 있었다. 반면에, 이전 시점의 독서활동은 이후 시점의 학업성취도에 유의하게 영향을 미치지 않았다. 다섯째, 학업성취도는 이후 시점의 자기주도학습에 유의하게 정적영향을 미치고 있었다. 그러나 이전 시점의 학업성취도는 이후 시점의 독서활동에는 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 그리하여 초등학생의 자기주도학습과 학업성취도의 관계에 대해 종단적으로 분석하였을 때, 양방향의 영향관계가 존재함이 밝혀졌으며, 독서활동과 학업성취도 간에는 종단적으로 양방향의 영향관계가 존재하지 않음이 드러났다.

영문 초록

This study analyzed and compared the effects of self-regression cross-delay between students self-directed learning, reading activity and academic achievement using data from the 1st and 3rd year of the Busan Education Longitudinal Study(BELS)2016. As a result, first, there was a positive correlation between self-directed learning and academic achievement, reading activity and academic achievement. Second, the students self-directed learning and reading activity were stable over time. Third, academic achievement was also stable over time. Fourth, self-directed learning at the previous time had a significant negative effect on academic achievement at the next time. On the other hand, reading activity at the previous time did not significantly affect academic achievement at the later time. Fifth, academic achievement had a significantly positive effect on self-directed learning at the later time. However, the academic achievement at the previous time did not significantly affect the reading activity at the later time. Thus, in the longitudinal analysis of the relationship between elementary students self-directed learning and academic achievement, there was a bidirectional influence relationship but there was no longitudinal relationship between elementary students reading activity and academic achievement.
