국문 초록

2015년부터 2017년 [+사람] 신어 385개의 사회문화적 의미 범주를 박선옥(2019나)에서 일곱 개로 설정하고 ‘경제적 삶, 생활 방식’의 두 분야 신어의 사회문화적 의미 분석을 하였다. 이 연구는 나머지 다섯 개 분야 ‘사람의 성향과 가치, 외모와 패션, 요리와 음식, 결혼과 육아ㆍ교육, 정치와 행정ㆍ제도’ 신어의 사회문화적 의미를 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 사람의 성향과 가치 분야에서는 사람의 지적인 능력을 중요시하고, 문제를 시원하게 해결해 주는 사람을 긍정적으로 평가하며, 남녀평등을 추구하는 남성과 강한 여성이 환영받는 사회문화적 의미가 나타났다. 그리고 젠더 갈등과 세대 갈등의 사회문화적 양상을 담은 신어가 있었다. 한 분야에 집중, 집착하는 사람이 증가하고 이에 대한 긍정적 이미지 변화의 사회문화적 의미가 나타났다. 외모와 패션 분야에서 여성은 근육미 넘치고, 과일처럼 상큼하고 발랄한 외모를 긍정적으로 평가하는 사회문화적 의미가 나타났다. 자전거를 타며 다이어트하는 세태를 보이는 신어도 있다. 패션 감각을 중요하게 여기고 특히 남성의 외모 가꾸기를 긍정적으로 인식하는 사회문화적 양상도 있었다. 요리와 음식 분야에서는 무엇보다도 요리하는 남성을 긍정적, 매력적으로 보는 사회문화적 양상이 드러났다. 먹는 행위가 방송 콘텐츠로 인기를 끌고, 맛있는 음식을 먹기위해서 시간과 노력을 아끼지 않으며, 요리에 중점을 둔 캠핑 문화도 읽을 수 있었다. 결혼을 하지 않는 사람이 증가하고, 이혼 대신 각자 개인적인 삶을 살아가는 새로운 사회문화적 의미도 나타났다. 육아에서는 아이의 안전을 매우 중요하게 생각하고, 잘 계획해서 기르고 자녀의 성공에 방해가 되는 것은 부모가 없애주며 취업까지 관리하고 챙기는 부모의 모습을 엿볼 수 있다. 그리고 신어를 통해 당시의 제도와 행정, 정치적 양상도 읽을 수 있었다. 이 연구는 다른 시기 신어의 사회문화적 의미를 분석하는 방법으로 활용될 수 있을 것이며, 향후 신어의 사용 추이를 살펴 의미 변화에 대한 논의할 때 초석으로 삼을 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

From 2015 to 2017, socio-cultural meanings of 385 [+person] neologisms were put into seven categories from Park Sunok(2019na) and analyzed socio-cultural meanings of “economic life and lifestyle”. The purpose of this study is to analyze the socio-cultural meaning of the neologisms in the remaning five fields: “people’s tendency and value, appearance and fashion, cooking and food, marriage and child care and education, politics and administration and system” In the field of people’s tendency and value, it emphasizes the intellectual ability of the person, positively evaluates the person who solves the problem coolly, and has a socio-cultural meaning that men and women who are seeking equality between men and women are welcomed. And there was a word for the socio-cultural aspect of gender conflict and generation conflict. The number of people who concentrate on one field and the number of obsessed people increased, and the socio-cultural meaning of positive image change appeared. In appearance and fashion, women showed a socio-cultural meaning that was full of muscles, and positively evaluated their fresh and youthful appearance as fruits. There are shoes wearing a bicycle riding diet. There was also a socio-cultural aspect, which recognized fashion sense as important and positively perceived men’s appearance. In cooking and food field, the socio-cultural aspects of cooking men seemed to be positive and attractive. Eating activity became popular as broadcast contents, and it did not spare time and effort to eat delicious food, and we were able to read camping culture focused on cooking. There is a new socio-cultural meaning in which people who do not get married increase and live their own lives instead of divorce. In child care, the safety of the child is very important, well planned and raised, and the obstacles to the success of the child can be seen by the parents who have removed the parents and managed to take care of the work. And he was able to read the institutional, administrative, and political aspects of the time. This study can be used as a method of analyzing the socio-cultural meaning of the another time neologisms, and it can be used as a cornerstone in discussing the change of meaning by looking at the usage trend of the neologisms in the future.
