국문 초록

우리나라 초등학교 국어 수업은 단일본 교과서를 사용하여 학습하고 있다. 단일 본 교과서는 학습 내용을 표준화하면서도 교육 내용의 질 관리를 할 수 있기 때문에 효과적이다. 하지만 수업에서 교과서가 차지하는 비중은 그만큼 높아질 수밖에 없다. 물론 교과서의 다양화를 추구하더라도 교과서의 질 관리는 중요하다. 교과서는 기본적으로 교육과정을 표상하고, 교수-학습에 도움을 줄 수 있어야 하기 때문이 교과서의 질 관리를 위해서는 이를 검증하는 작업이 반드시 필요하다. 이를 위해 타 영역 성취기준들에 포괄적인 영향을 미치면서 그 자체가 지식을 다루는 특성을 가진 문법영역의 성취기준을 대상으로 교과서 실행 양상을 분석하였다. 그리고 문법 영역의 성취기준들이 어떻게 교과서로 변환되고 있는지를 구체적으로 살피기 위해 교육과 정 대비 교과서에서의 성취기준 사용 빈도수, 단원 구성 시 문법 영역 성취기준의 중요도 정도, 타 영역 성취기준과 문법 영역 성취기준의 통합 양상, 단원 구성 과정에서의 문법 영역 성취기준 전개 양상으로 나누어 살펴보았다. 분석 결과 문법 영역의 성취기준이 타 영역에 비해 그 수가 적은 것은 차치하더라도 단원 구성 과정에서 문법 영역의 성취기준을 사용하는 비중이 매우 적다는 것과 단원 구성을 할 때 문법 영역의 성취기준을 주 성취기준으로 사용하는 일이 적은 것 도 발견할 수 있었다. 또한 타 영역 성취기준과의 결합 방식에서 예전 교과서에 비해 많이 나아지기는 했지만 영역 통합적 구성과 영역 분리적 구성이 여전히 남아 있는것을 확인할 수 있었다. 다만, 문법 영역 성취기준 중심 단원의 전개 과정을 살펴볼 때 이전과 달리 타 영역의 성취기준과 통합적으로 구성하고, 맥락 속에서 지식을 학습하며, 학습된 지식을 연계, 구조화하여 실생활 속에서 활용할 수 있게 구성한 측면은 매우 바람직한 현상으로 볼 수 있다.

영문 초록

The single textbook is effective because it can standardize the contents of learning and manage the quality of the contents of education, but the proportion of the textbooks in the class is inevitably increased.,Of course, even if the textbooks are diversified, the quality management of the textbooks is important.,Because textbooks should be able to represent the curriculum and help teaching-learning, it is necessary to verify this for the quality management of textbooks.,This study analyzed the implementation of textbooks with the achievement standards of grammar area that have the characteristics of dealing with knowledge while having a comprehensive influence on other area achievement standards. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the achievement standard of the grammar area is very small in the process of composing the unit and that the achievement standard of the grammar area is rarely used as the main achievement standard when constructing the unit.,In addition, it was confirmed that the combination method with other domain achievement standards was much better than the previous textbooks, but the area integrated composition and the area separation composition remained.,However, when examining the development process of the unit centered on the grammatical domain achievement standard, it can be seen as a very desirable phenomenon that it is integrated with the achievement standard of other areas, learns knowledge in context, and connects and structures learned knowledge and utilizes it in real life.
