학교교육실습 전후의 예비보건교사로서 교직선택동기, 교직관 및 교사 역할 변화 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 예비보건교사를 대상으로 학교교육실습 전후의 교직선택동기, 교직관 및 보건교사역할 변화를 분석하는데 목적을 두고 경남지역에 소재한 S대학 간호학과에 재학 중인 4학년 가운데 교직과정을 이수한 20명을 연구대상으로 2018년 6월 11일 사전 설문조사, 7월 16일 사후 설문조사를 수행하였다. 수집된 설문 자료는 SPSS 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였고, 다음과 같은 연구결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 학교교육실습 후 예비보건교사의 교직선택동기에서 능동적 동기는 증가하였고, 수 동적 및 물질적 동기는 감소하였다. 둘째, 학교교육실습 후 교직관에서 전문직관에 대한 유의한 긍정적인 변화가 나타났다. 셋째, 학교교육실습 후 보건교사의 역할 가운데 상담자, 환경관리자의 역할에서 유의한 긍정적 변화가 나타났다. 학교교육실습 은 교사로서 필요한 다양한 요건들을 준비하는 교직 준비 프로그램이기 때문에 교육실습을 통해 교직선택동기, 교직관, 교사 역할에서 유의한 변화가 초래될 수 있도록 대학과 실습학교는 학교교육 실습 과정을 체계적으로 준비해야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

This study is purposed to analyze the changes in motivations of choosing teaching profession, view of teaching, and health teacher s role before and after a school eduction practice targeting at pre-service health teachers. So, we carried out a questionnaire survey on 20 students who completed the teaching course among the 4th grader attending S University Nursing Department located in the Gyeongnam area. And we analyzed the data collected from the questionnaire with the SPSS program, and derived the following study results. First, in the pre-service health teacher s motivations of choosing a teaching profession after the school education practice, an active motivation has increased and a passive and material motivation has decreased. Second, in the view of teaching, there was a significant positive change in the nursing professional value after the school education practice. Third, in the health teacher s role, there was a significant positive change in the roles of a counselor and a environmental operator after the school education practice. Since the school education practice is a teaching preparation program in which various requirements are prepared as a teacher, it can be a good opportunity for pre-service health teachers to change their motivations of choosing a teaching profession and view of teaching. Therefore, it is necessary to systematically prepare the school education practice course at the university level for them to fulfill various roles as a health teacher.
