국문 초록

본 연구는 엘리아스의 사회학 논의를 참고하여 사회과교육에서 교실수업연구를 위한 새로운 관점을 제시하고자 한다. 엘리아스는 ‘결합태’ 개념을 활용하여 사회와 개인의 상호의존적 관계를 드러내고, 경기 모델을 통해 사회 변화 양상의 의미를 제 시하며, 이를 뒷받침하는 내적 통제 기제의 작동 과정을 설명하였다. 이러한 분석은 교실수업을 분석하는 하나의 관점으로 활용될 수 있다. 즉, 엘리아스의 논의를 통해 교사와 학생의 이분법적 구조에 입각한 논의 실태를 확인할 수 있으며, 정태적인 시 각에서 이뤄지는 연구수업 등의 문제를 지적할 수 있다. 또한 변화하는 교실환경에서도 여전히 나타나는 다양한 통제 양상도 확인할 수 있다. 이런 논의를 토대로 본 연구자는 사회과 교실수업연구에서 주목해야 할 점을 크게 세 가지로 제시하였다. 첫째, 사회과 교실수업연구에 있어서 교사와 학생의 상호의존성에 관심을 갖는 연구들이 늘어날 필요가 있다. 둘째, 반성적 실천가의 의미를 교사와 학생 모두에게 확장하여 사회과의 사회과학 내용이 시민성 교육으로 재구성되는 과정에 주목해야 한다. 셋째, 민주시민교육의 취지에서 사회과 수업에서 나타나는 내적 통제의 일환으로 학생들 간의 권력 관계 역시 사회과 교실수업연구의 주제로 주목할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

This study suggests a new perspective for classroom research in social studies education. Specifically, based on Elias s theory of sociology, this paper suggests some aspects of classroom research. Elias noted the interdependent relationship between society and the individual and suggested a model of competition as a tool to explain social change. It also explains how the internal control mechanism works to support this. This analysis can be used as a perspective for analyzing classroom instruction. In other words, through the discussion of Elias, the discussion of the discussion based on the dichotomous structure of the teacher and the student can be confirmed, and the problems such as the research class conducted from a static perspective can be pointed out. You can also see the various aspects of control that still appear in a changing classroom environment. Based on these discussions, the researcher presented three notable parts of social studies classroom study. First, research on teacher-student interdepence needs to be increased in social studies classroom research. Second, the meaning of reflective practitioners should be extended to both teachers and students, and attention should be paid to the process of reconstructing the social science contents of social studies into citizenship education. Third, as a democratic civic education, one of the internal controls that appear in social studies classes, power relations between students also need to be treated as an important subject of social studies classroom research.
