국문 초록

온라인 공개강좌(MOOC)는 미국의 주요 MOOC들이 2012년 서비스를 개시한 이 후, 현재 성숙기에 접어드는 단계이다. 하지만 국내의 교육정보화 분야에서 MOOC 학술 연구는 아직 미진한 상태이다. 본 연구는 혁신확산이론과 확장기술수용모델을 근거로 국내 대학생들의 MOOC 수용에 관한 요인을 규명하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 E-러닝 관련 선행 연구들이 입증한 이론적 모형과 최근 해외 연구자들이 제시 한 MOOC 수용 요인들을 결합시켜 연구 모형과 가설을 마련하였다. 방법론은 두 가 지의 다른 자료원을 정성·정량적으로 분석하는 혼합기법(Mixed Method) 방식의 설 명적(Explanatory) 연구이다. 우선 연구 1단계로써 2차 자료를 내용분석에 따라 예비 조사한 결과, 기존의 국내 E-러닝 및 해외 학습자들의 MOOC 수용 요인들과 국내 대학생들의 MOOC 수용 요인들은 전반적으로 일치함을 발견하였다. 예비조사 결과를 토대로 후속의 본 조사 에서는, 서베이를 통해 수집된 자료를 정량적으로 분석, 동 논고에서 제시한 변인들 의 인과 관계 및 가설을 입증하고 연구 모형을 확정하게 될 것이다. 본 연구는 기존 온라인 수업·교육 관한 문헌들이 충분히 설명할 수 없는 국내 학습자들의 MOOC 수용 현상을 사회기술적(Socio-technology) 관점의 모델을 통해 확인함으로써 국내 정보화교육 분야에 기여하고자 한다.

영문 초록

Grounded in Diffusion of Innovation Theory and Technology Acceptance Model 2, this study aims to explain the factors influencing domestic undergraduate students’ acceptance of Massive Open Online Courses(MOOCs) in Korea. Drawing on overarching theoretical frameworks in Education Information, and employing dominant predictors that the latest studies on MOOCs address, an explanatory study will be conducted to confirm a causal conceptual model and its constructs. Also, the outcomes from a pilot test using secondary data sources conducted in August 2015 will be referred to the stage of main study. The pilot test by using content analysis shows that the majority of potential constructs are identical to those of the previous E-Learning and overseas MOOCs research. This study thus suggests the conceptual model and multiple hypotheses that will be confirmed by an subsequent empirical analysis in a quantitative way to investigate factors in the individual student s MOOCs acceptance. From the socio-technologial perspective, this research will make a contribution in fostering educational information research and filling a gap in the knowledge of Education Information, by explaining the acceptance phenomena of MOOCs that extant literature related to E-Learning and online education has not theoretically accounted for.
