사회복지전공 전문대학생의 진로결정 영향요인

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 사회복지전공 전문대학생의 진로결정에 영향을 미치는 요인을 알아보고, 그들의 진로상담과 진로지도를 위한 기초자료를 마련하는데 있다. 이 연구를 위해 사회복지전공 지방전문대학생의 전공선택 동기, 전공만족도, 진로결정 수준을 측정했다. 2016년 4월 11일부터 22일까지의 조사기간에 수집된 자료는 SPSS 20.0을 이용하여 신뢰도분석과 요인분석, 기술분석, 독립표본 t-test, 상관분석, 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 응답자 중 34.9%는 진로를 결정했지만, 40.8%는 유보, 24.2%는 아직 진로미결정의 상태에 있었다. 또한 연구가설을 검증한 결과 인구사회학적 요인과 전공선택 동기는 진로결정에 별다른 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았으나, 전공만족도는 통계적으로 유의한 정적(+)인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 장기적인 관점에서의 전공교육 강화의 필요성 및 이들의 성공적 인 진로결정을 돕기 위한 현실적인 진로상담과 지도가 이뤄져야 함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine what factors influence college students of social welfare in their career decision-making and to contribute baseline data for their career counseling and career guidance. For this study, the levels of major selection motivation, major satisfaction, career decision of local college students majoring in social welfare were measured. During survey period from April 11th 2016 to 22nd collected data were analyzed through reliability analysis and factor analysis, descriptive analysis, independent t-test, correlation analysis, hierarchical regression analysis by using SPSS 20.0. The results, 34.9% of respondents had determined the career, 40.8% had deferred, 24.2% were still in a state of career indecision. Also results of validate the hypothesis of the study, socio-demographic variables and major selection motivation did not have a significant correlated on their career decision-making while statistically significant positive(+) in the major satisfaction. The result of this study implies that the need strengthen for major education in the long term and a practical career counseling and guidance to help their successful career decision-making be made.
