국문 초록

본 연구는 물 순환 마인드맵 자료를 이용하여 영재학생과 일반학생의 물 순환 구성요소 및 물 순환 과정에 대한 인식, 고차원적 시스템 사고 수준을 비교 분석하였다. 영재학생이 일반학생에 비해 물 순환 구성요소 및 과정에 대한 인식의 정도가 다소 높았으며, 더 높은 수준의 시스템 사고를 한다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 그러나 연구대상 모두 물 순환의 구성요소 중 지권 및 생물권, 인간 활동에 대한 인식이 부족하고, 물 순환 과정 중 증발을 단순하게 도식화하여 인식한다는 공통점이 있었다. 또한 영재학생과 일반학생 모두 지구계의 하위 개념인 인간과의 상호 관련성이나 환경오염에 대해서는 인식이 다소 부족한 것으로 보아, 실질적이고 총체적인 환경교육이 필요하다.

영문 초록

This study were analyzed component of the water cycle and the process of water cycle, higher-order system thinking levels in the gifted and the general students by comparing, through data analysis for the mind-map. The gifted students had a slightly higher level of cognition regarding components and process of the water cycle compared to the general students, and the gifted students showed a higher level of system thinking of circulating water. However, all of the subjects of this study lacked cognition regarding the geosphere, biosphere, and human activities which are components of the water cycle and commonalities were revealed in cognition of simple diagramming of evaporation in the water cycle process. Also a practical and the general educational environment is needed due to the lack of cognition regarding interrelationships between humans and the environment which was a low ranking concept of earth system in all the gifted and the general students.
