부모의 방임적 양육태도, 학생의 정서문제와 학교적응 간 자기회귀 교차지연 효과 검증

국문 초록

본 연구는 한국아동·청소년패널 초등학교 1학년의 2~4차년(2011~2013년) 자료를 활용하여 연구진이 2016년 재분석한 연구로 부모의 방임적 양육태도가 학생의 정서문제와 학교적응에 미치는 영향을 종단적으로 분석하고자 자기회귀 교차지연 모형을 적용한 연구이다. 분석결과, 이전 시점의 부모의 방임적 양육태도와 학생의 정서문제, 학교적응은 모두 3년 동안 이후 시점에 영향을 주고 있었으며, 부모의 방임적 양육태도는 학생의 정서문제에 정적 영향을 주고, 학생의 학교적응에 부적 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 뿐만 아니라, 학생의 정서문제는 학교적응에 부적 영향을 주며, 학교적응은 다시 정서문제에 부적 영향을 주는 관계를 보였다. 이러한 연구결 과는 지속적인 부모의 방임적 양육태도가 학생의 정서문제를 지속적으로 증가시키며, 학교적응을 지속적으로 감소시킬 수 있는 가능성이 있음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study used Autoregressive cross-lagged modeling to examine the competing hypotheses about the longitudinal relationship between the neglecting parental attitudes and their children’s emotional problems and school adjustment. For this, data from 2 to 4 (Grades 1-3) survey waves of the Korean Children and Youth Panel Study were used. The analysis shows that the neglecting parental attitudes, their children’s emotional problems and school adjustment at the grade 1 affected those three factors at the grade 2 and the grade 3. It was also found that the neglecting parental attitudes made a positive influence on their children’s emotional problems, but made a negative impact on their children’s school adjustment. Additionally, the children’s emotional problems made a negative influence on their school adjustment and that school adjustment negatively impacted on their emotional problems over time. These findings reveals the possibility that neglecting parental attitudes may longitudinally increase their children’s emotional problems and decrease their children’s school adjustment.
